SANTA GIUSTA, ORISTANO The park and lagoon of Santa Giusta is a transition area between urban and natural system. Aim of the project is to make the lagoon as social and economic center of territory. Further the challange is to possess good quality of water, as it directly influences the economic activities and above all the ecological and environmental relations of the territory. 4 main subject are determined for development of the lagoon of Santa Giusta 1. Agriculture - Spatial organization of agricultural activity

2. Rice - Spatial organization of the activity of the rice growers

3. Fishing - Spatial organization of fishermen

4. Industrial Development

Improve touristic operations, recreational and anthropic environment by integrating the agricultural landscape with the natural landscape Regeneration in a perspective of sustainability, (organic) productive uses of rice-growing, also through productive innovation Enhancing the identity role of the wetland landscape through the promotion of tourism and the creation of new spaces for public use, linking the coastline with the lagoon area Port - Increasement of linkages with overseas lines. Connect perceptively and visually the different places and areas (peri-lagoon, lagoon, port), reconfiguring the spaces close to the wetland, mitigating the disturbance of the port area and recreating the ecological relationship with the natural area. Water Treatmant Plant - Infrastructure works for the connection between urban centers and the purifier. Craft area - Increasement of connections with the port area by encouraging the exchange of goods and in addition to strengthening of the flow of users.
