Clouds Typeface

The font is inspired by clouds, with curves and color block elements taken from cumulonimbus clouds resembling marshmallows.

This font is suitable for some printed materials, such as posters and greeting cards or covers, and it is especially suited to be used as large headlines.

Sky Share Event

This fictional online exhibition includes an online workshop, exhibition, and store. In this way, the artist Bei wanted to convey the concept of Yolo to the audience, reminding people to appreciate the present moment through the fleeting sky. The concept of this event is based on the Cloud typeface designed by Bei. The audience for this project will be all people, whether they are busy white-collar workers, older people, or kids on the beach.

The Polarview app is a mobile application that interacts with smart ski/ snowboard goggles and provides skiers with a more accessible navigation system and camera system by connecting to smart ski/ snowboard goggles without carrying extra equipment.

The app also has weather forecasting and route planning functions that work well with smart ski/ snowboard goggles making it a safer option for skiers, especially those who like to ski on snowy mountains.

Furthermore, users can connect to the app to navigate in real-time on the smart goggles without the need to hold a mobile phone. In addition to mobile phones, Polarview also allows users to connect using an Apple Watch with mobile network support.

AR technology breathes soul into the Polarview app and its smart ski/ snowboard goggles. A trinity of a camera, GPS, and ski/ snowboard goggles, providing skiers with the easiest way to get around. In addition, AR live navigation helps humans explore snowy mountains and brings them closer to nature.

The current high speed of social processes has contributed to the increase in the incidence of mental illness. Because being born in the Internet age, which is more sensitive to renewal iterations, is the current high-speed social process in the high incidence of depression groups. The word hūxi comes from the Chinese Pinyin, which means breath, and reads like a relaxing breath. Connecting us through sunlight, greenery, and water, the natural sources of life give us vitality and allow us to breathe freely. hūxi, breathe better, be free.

hūxi is a brand of medication created for Generation Z depression sufferers. Generation Z and the surrounding family and possibly friends are more receptive to change and are potential customers for "serious and fun" antidepressants. Their age ranges from 12-27 years old. Most grew up in wealthy families or had a decent personal income. Their good economic situation makes them or their families more aware of mental health issues.

A type specimen book for Breughel

Breughel (1982) is a serif typeface inspired by the Renaissance. It reminded people of the Renaissance male gaze when male painters used their pens to depict what they thought was the perfect heterosexual nude.

After all this time, the male gaze hasn’t disappeared from our lives. On the contrary, it has taken on more varied forms.

It has provoked numerous anxieties about women’s body image and appearance in contemporary times. Significantly, art critic John Berger first used the concept of the ‘gaze’ in Ways of Seeing (1972), a documentary analysis of the representation of women in advertising - as passive objects - and the nude subject in European art.

And the concept of the male gaze was introduced by Laura Mulvey in 1975. Coincidentally, this was less than ten years before the release of the Breughel typeface.

Extinction Catalogue Project

poster design

Posters

This project was inspired by the concern about the extinction of species and the need for people to be aware of the importance of protecting other living things.

Black and white images of extinct animals are used to add a sense of extinction to the image and to make the message more distinct.

The images of the animals are not complete here, thus metaphorically signaling their disappearance in this way. The marking of time is a reminder of constant vigilance and self- reflection.

sound Performing book design

This project was inspired by my observation of the silkworm process. This natural process brought me to think about the rhythms of life should we recover the biological rhythms broken by high-speed civilization?

Cocoonloo
In the project, I tried to find ways to heal contemporary emotional and sleep problems in meditation and Zen Buddhism. In the end, I have done it - through the metaphorical cocoon. I hope to provide the audience with an opportunity to pause and experience our true individual needs and rhythms of life. 031
