WAVES 4-KIDS
06
4KIDS 4-Kids are a desk and chair set designed for a simple storage optimizing the classroom activities. Storage as a design concept has been considered as a system that allows constant and dynamic activities. Due to the wave-shape on the front and the lateral assembly, the desks can be arranged both horizontal and vertically depending on the group dynamic. The wave-shape enables a fun and dynamic classroom. The furniture has two associated colors referred to its possible meaning, as yellow and blue achieves stability and intelligence. Soft tones were chosen to avoid distract the children’s attention. The chairs and desks can stack up one over the other, reducing the storage space when they are not in use or during transportation.

HI-TECH JEWLERY
13
PRISMA Concept based on the Lotus effect extrapolating the conical microstructure of lotus leaves. The angles of these cones generate surfaces that makes impermeable the leaves. The design plays with proportion and position of the cones throughout a tapered triangular shape with some subtractions which are based on the ramifications of the leaves. Some forms are also abstracted from the black clay crafts of Oaxaca. This project combines the 3D printing technologies with tradicional techniques.
