The Makers Guild of Maine will host a series of retreats that celebrate design, local food traditions, and fiber arts. At Picking Up the Threads, explore traditional techniques to color, decorate and design clothing. At Our Daily Bread, celebrate bread baking and heritage grains with bakers from all over the world. At Fiber College of Maine, take classes on knitting, crocheting, weaving, basketmaking, and more. All events take place at Searsport Shores Ocean Campground following CDC pandemic guidelines.

NORTH ATLANTIC BLUES FESTIVAL

JULY 10 & 11, 2021

An annual two-day blues music festival featuring some of the top national blues performers and considered one of the most prestigious on the East Coast. Held at the public landing in Rockland, overlooking the picturesque harbor. In addition to all-day live entertainment, there are vendors selling a wide array of food, drinks, and crafts.

MAINE CELTIC CELEBRATION

SEPTEMBER 18, 2021 ONE DAY EVENT

A family-oriented celebration of the rich Celtic heritage, culture, and hospitality found along the coast of Maine. Traditional Celtic music and dancing is offered in scenic bayside park. Smaller this year but still the same wonderful experience! Fireworks over Belfast Bay. With food and craft vendors as well, there is truly something for everyone! Admission is by donation. 14TH ANNUAL BELFAST HARBOR FEST

AUGUST 13 - 15, 2021

Friday at 5:30p.m., An Evening by the Bay, with online and live auction to benefit The Soap Closet, tickets available. Saturday, the National Boatbuilding Challenge starts at 11 a.m., but also enjoy a 5K road race, the 20th annual Come Boating Rowing Regatta, kids' activities, live music, and more! Sunday, the Cardboard Boat Challenge starts at 10 a.m., prizes in several categories, including one for the Most Spectacular Sinking! Check out the website for updates.

STRUNG TOGETHER: BLUEGRASS AND OLD-TIME MUSIC JAM CAMPOUT

Traditional music, dance, and old-fashioned fun. Share in song, dance, jams, local food, and great melodies from old-time music traditions (old-time, bluegrass, and Americana).
