KEY DATES
Applications for Enrolment into Year 7, 2021 Applications for enrolment will close on Friday, 31 st May, 2019. Students may be invited to attend an interview late in Term 2, 2019.
July 2020 School Uniform Fittings Staff from our uniform supplier, Alinta, will contact you to advise a time at BHCS for your child’s uniform fitting. Fittings will take place early Term 4. Items may be placed on layby for collection in January.
Accepting a Place for Your Child Letters of Offer will be forwarded to families from Friday, 30 th August, 2019. To accept your offer of a position please pay the $100 non-refundable Enrolment Fee by Friday, 20 th September, 2019. Should your child miss out on first round offers, you will be notified in writing. Limited offers will be made during 2020. Student names will not be removed from the waiting list unless you advise us to do so. The $100 application fee is non-refundable. Annual Invoice Emailed to families mid to late February, 2021. 2020 - Year 6 During May, 2020 families are requested to pay their $500 Confirmation Fee. Enrolment contracts and documents will be sent in Term 3. Parent Information Evening - scheduled in late November. Year 6 Orientation Day - usually the second Thursday of December.
August 2020 Student Transport Bus travel for BHCS students is a private service. Applications for bus use will be sent to families in the following year. November 2020 Information Evening for Parents and Students Hear from our Head of Middle School and Year 7 teachers about the academic programs and camp. Booklists and BYOD Information Information will be sent home regarding booklists and Bring your own Device (BYOD) offers. Please note the majority of textbooks will be supplied via Digital Textbooks, included in school fees.
December 2020 Orientation Day for Students Year 6 students will come to BHCS for the School Orientation Program. Notification of Homeroom Teachers and House Groups Families will be advised of the Homegroup and House their child is in. Please note that younger siblings will be in the same House group as older siblings attending BHCS. January 2021 During the first week of classes, students will finish five minutes early to assist with end of day organisation. Year 7 students have their first day at BHCS. To ease their transition, other students within Middle School will not be present on this day. February 2021 Students attend school camp, usually held in the third week of Term 1.
