The Institute does this by building and equipping Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] with modern management skills and practices through seminars, workshops, conferences and other interactive forum. This equips Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] to function effectively and efficiently within the appropriate regulatory framework.

To promote and establish high standard of competence and professionalism among Chief Executive Officers [CEOs]. To promote the training and development of Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] in order to enhance their productivity, by a way of organizing seminars, Conferences, workshops and symposium. To p r o m o t e r e s e a r c h a n d advancement in the field of corporate governance. To collect and disseminate strategically, information that will enhance the ability and capability of Chief Executive Officers [CEOs], thus contributing to effective and evidence based result oriented executive management. MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS To become a member you must be one of the following; CEO, GM/MD,Business owner. You must be willing to; - Help and mentor other group members. - Open to advice, ideas and correction.

INDUCTION COURSES

BUSINESS GROUPS OF THE CEO INSTITUTE SMEs Group:

For CEOs of Small and Medium Enterprises with a minimum annual turn-over of one million dollars (N150 million) and above.

Mid-size Group:

For CEOs of medium size companies and organizations with a minimum annual turn-over of five million dollars (N500 million)

Large scale Group:

For CEOs of large scale companies and organizations with a minimum annual turn-over of ten million dollars (N1 billion) and above.

Multinationals Group:

For CEOs of multi-national companies and organizations with a minimum annual turn-over of one hundred million dollars N10 billion)

* Each member of the institute would be expected to belong to one of the four business groups of the institute.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS Membership of the CEO INSTITUTE is open to Chief Executive Officers [CEOs] & Chief Operating Officers [COOs] of public and private enterprises/institutions and entrepreneurs of legally recognized businesses or entities whose annual turnover is in excess of one million dollars.

All intending full members and inner court members of the institute are required to attend the mandatory institute's membership Induction course. The course provides an overview of key elements of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, strategic finance, innovation and entrepreneurship, and corporate strategy. The induction course is handled by a team of experts assembled by the institute to take intending members to a new level of performance.

CERTIFICATION The qualification of Certified Chief Executive [CCE] is available for those members who have completed the 3 modules of the program administered by the institute. Each module takes an average of one week to complete. The 3 modules are completed in 6 months.

BROCHURE GOVERNANCE & STRUCTURE GOVERNING COUNCIL The governing council is the highest decision making body of the institute. It is responsible for the formulation of the policies of the institute. It consists of the following: -The Chairman -The Vice chairman/CEO -Secretary to council/Registrar -Other 5 - 9 members SECRETARIAT The secretariat is responsible for the day administration of the institute. It is headed by the Vice chairman/CEO. INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE The International Advisory Committee is responsible for advising the institute on key aspect of international and national policies and issues affecting the operations of the institute. It consists of the Chairman and 14 other members

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CEO INSTITUTE Fill and return the membership form of the CEO Ins tute which can be obtained from any of our offices or done online at

www.ceoins tute.com.ng On receiving the filled applica on form, the Ins tute will review it and take a decision concerning your qualifica on to become a member of the ins tute.
