FARMERS’ MARKET “As producers, we can tell our customers how the product was grown and the ingredients we used to make it. It’s a meeting place where they will see friendly faces. Parents bring their children as a family outing, letting them help choose the product, explaining what each one is. On a busy summer Saturday there can be up to 2,000 shoppers strolling the walkway. I’m proud to be a part of this group and offer our customers delicious healthy food choices.” Jackie Tapp Chair, Farmers’ Market Association

FISHING IN BELLEVILLE The Bay of Quinte is the perfect destination for fishing. We are internationally known for our walleye, and anglers from all across North America come to take part in our annual Kiwanis Walleye World Fishing Derby. The Moira River, which cuts through downtown Belleville, often has many fishermen lining its shores in early May during walleye season. This has also become a hot spot for fly fishing enthusiasts. In addition, there are also large and small mouth bass, pike, musky, perch, catfish and other pan fish. So whether you are on a boat or on the shore, fishing the Bay of Quinte is a must for everyone. FISHING CHARTERS Whether you are looking for salmon, bass, trout, pike, ice fishing or walleye, these charters specialize in the Bay and aim to ensure your fishing adventure is a great success.
