President’s Letter Hello Key Clubbers, December is here and we completed 545.75 hours of community service through 22 service projects. Shout out to Claire, Cynthia, Kristen, Nazli, Oscar, Pooja, and Wenlin with over 10 community service hours! Impressive. Because of your service, we raised $230 from the bake sale, $485.10 from Trick or Treat for UNICEF, and $700 from selling car wash tickets and still selling! Keep it up Bellevue! As a club, we have set a $1000 goal for KCCP, currently we have $230 from the bake sale allocated towards that goal. If you have any fundraiser ideas, please pitch it to any one of the board members and we will be excited to hear it. We are selling t-shirts, 50 people have registered for t-shirts but we still need you to pay $15 to the accountant or we cannot give you your shirt! Currently, we have over 95 paid members in Bellevue Key Club. In a few weeks, we will hold an induction for your official entry into Key Club. If you haven't paid your dues, you will not be able to 4
cont. receive a Key Club ID card, pin, community service hours or go to DCON. This month's DCM is the most exciting. This DCM was made for members to bond and get to know each other better so take the opportunity to meet new people and hang out with others! The meeting will be on December 20th from 6-10pm at the One Pro Event Center. There are only 150 spots and usually 200 people go to DCMs so make sure to reserve your spot now at http://tinyurl.com/Dec28DCM. There is a $7 fee that you have to pay by the December 8th meeting to me or any board member or else your spot will be released to other members. Bellevue is in charge of bringing entrees. Last announcement! We will be holding elections on January 26th! The positions available are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Bulletin Editor and Webmaster. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact any one of the board members. If you are going to run, make sure we know and prepare a 1-2 minute speech. We want everyone that is interested to run, even if you are just a little over the edge, introvert or extrovert. You never know what might come out of it. In Caring and Service, Andes
