President’s Letter Hello Key Clubbers, Please welcome our new Key Club board for the 2017-2018 school year. They will be starting their official term after DCON, April 2nd. Bellevue Key Club is officially sending 33 members to District Convention (DCON) at Portland! If you didn’t have a chance to sign up this year, we would love to have you go next year. DCON is really something you don’t want to miss in high school. The Hot Chocolate Run is March 4-5th and you should totally volunteer! They give out a free t-shirt if you volunteer on the 4th at 8am-12pm bit.ly/BellChocolate4th and a free hoodie and HOT CHOCOLATE when you volunteer on the 5th 5am bit.ly/BellChocolate. It has always been fun and I’ve gone every single year since I joined Key Club. There are limited spaces and 15 people have already signed up! We are looking for more ways to fundraise for KCCP! Please contact any of the officers if you have ideas for a fundraiser! KCCP supports local hospitals like Seattle Children’s and at each of these hospitals, there are doctors who train and research specifically 4
cont. in the field of children’s cancer, with the hope of finding a cure to prevent it, completely. By supporting these fellows, we have agreed to support the fight and help fund the research to help thousands of children live out their lives cancer –free, and chase after their dreams and aspirations.
