A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF JUNIOR SCHOOL Dear families Can you believe it is the end of week 2 already? I'm pleased to report that our students, in particular Kindergarten, have been settling in well with their new teachers and new routines. This term will be a busy one and it's important to keep up to date with our upcoming events. The best way to do this is via our WhatsApp group or the Sentral Parent Portal app. Junior School parent information evening will be held on Thursday 18th February, 6 -7pm in the school library. Parents are reminded that attendance at this event is mandatory, to support the College tri-partnership approach to your child's learning. Dear Bellfield Families,

I am continuing to be impressed by the way students have settled into their learning routines. In visiting classrooms this week I have seen happy and focused students participating in a variety of engaging activities. Our teachers at Bellfield prioritise building relationships with their students and helping them reach their learning goals. One of my highlights this week was welcoming our newest cohort Kindergarten 2021! It was a pleasure to meet many families at our Kindergarten Welcome Morning Tea. There was a buzz of excitement as students met their teachers, joined in activities and made new friends. I look forward to seeing their progress and growth over the year. In Week 3 we will be focusing on behaviour expectations at eating time, not running on concrete and playing in the correct place. Students will be reminded of these rules on Monday and staff will be actively encouraging positive choices. Uniform reminders: Students may wear plain black shorts for PE and Sport days only, if they are waiting on stock to be delivered from the Uniform Store. Girls and boys are not to wear coloured t-shirts under their uniform. Girls may wear white socks or plain grey tights. Patterned leggings are not allowed.
