Dear Parents, Students and Staff of Bellfield College COVID-19 Restrictions Update – 10 May 2021 In response to the NSW Health advice and to keep our College community safe:
Staff and students should not attend school if unwell, even with mild symptoms of COVID-19. Any person with COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home and should not return until they have received a negative test result and are symptom-free. In circumstances where students or staff have other medical reasons for recurrent symptoms a letter from their GP is sufficient to negate the requirement for a negative test.
Anyone who is unwell with COVID-19 symptoms is asked to get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received. Location of testing clinics can be found via the following link: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-others/clinics? deliveryName=DM11186 All staff and families please monitor the following link https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid19/latest-news-and-updates?deliveryName=DM4802#latest-covid-19-case-locations-in-nsw for locations where there may have been exposure to COVID-19 and adhere to the advice as appropriate. Students and staff using public transport travelling to and from school must wear a mask until 12.01am on Monday, 17th May 2021 Students are to remain within their class groups and to avoid mingling in large groups.
Please contact the College and notify the Front Office immediately if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms and present a negative COVID-19 test result prior to returning to site. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Yours faithfully,
Bellfield College
