CUTTING AND GRINDING

DIAMOND

HARD MATERIALS:

Diamond discs

Hard materials are considered to be those with extreme values of hardness and average abrasion. Among these materials are granite, klinker, quartzite, porphyry, refractory brick, cured concrete, etc.

Benefits: • Maximum performance and service life of the disc. • Excellent cutting speed and capacity. • Large selection: discs for dry or wet cutting continuous, turbo or segmented. Features: • Top quality, large, octagonal shaped diamonds. • The diamonds are homogenous so that they are all of the same quality right around the rim of the disc. • Laser marking that prevents information from being lost or the disc blade slowing down or becoming blunt. Use: • Dry cut discs to use in air cooled portable machines and wet cut discs to use in stationary water cooled machines.

ABRASIVE MATERIALS:

Dry cutting discs are intended, both because of their diameters and their composition, to be used on portable machines where cooling is caused by air. Discs are chosen in function of the desired finish, the material to be cut, and the user’s preferences.

Abrasive materials are considered to be those that are not very hard, but which wear out discs quickly because of their highly abrasive capacity. Among these materials are green concrete, aerated concrete blocks, old concrete, silica terrazzo, asphalt, normal brick, sandstone, etc.

GENERAL PURPOSE: General construction materials are considered to be those that are commonly used and do not have extreme values of hardness or abrasion. Among these materials are roof tiles, concrete roof tiles, terrazzo, bricks, concrete blocks, hydraulic tiles, etc.
