Set the Volume
1. Bellybuds - specialized audio speakers with a sounddampening shell and volume limiter.
First, please notice the “Pre” and “Post” settings on the volume limiter.
2. Adhesive Disks - dual-sided, medical grade hydrogel adhesives to hold the Bellybuds on the skin.
3. Audio Splitter - allows you to listen simultaneously with your baby. 4. Pouch - used to store and protect your Bellybuds when not in use.
The “Pre”-natal setting has a lower maximum volume level and is sufficient to deliver music safely to a baby in the womb. Switch to the “Post”-natal setting for a higher maximum level of volume. Use this setting when playing voice messages, soft music, or when using Bellybuds with compatible Bellybuds juvenile products after the baby is born (coming soon!). Both the “Pre” and “Post” settings ensure a maximum level of sound that is safe for a baby in the womb. We encourage you to play Bellybuds at a level that is ultimately most comfortable for you.

To use, plug your Bellybuds into any standard digital music player. You then have two options for how to wear them:

3) Slowly peel the Bellybud away from the transparent sheet and place firmly on your belly. Repeat for the other Adhesive Disk (Do not discard the transparent sheet, place the Bellybuds back on it between uses.)
1) Locate one pair of the Adhesive Disks and carefully remove just the top layer of paper from one of them. (It helps if you press down on the 4) When it’s time for new adhesives, simply grab the pull-tab to peel the used adhesive from the Bellybud and discard. Repeat steps above with new adhesives.
FOR BEST RESULTS: 1) Clean skin thoroughly of all lotions and oils prior to each application. 2) The adhesives are designed for multiple uses. Eventually, due to the oils in your skin, the adhesives will begin to lose tackiness. When this occurs, run a wet finger over its surface to remove oils, and allow it to dry before re-applying. 3) We recommend placing your Bellybuds on your belly and leaving them in one spot for the entirety of one session until you remove them; taking them off and replacing them excessively will wear away the tackiness. 4) The Bellybuds should be returned to the transparent sheet between uses and should not come in contact with any other surface other than skin.

Manufacturer’s Message The reusable replacement adhesive is made from a skin-safe medical grade hydrogel and will last for a longer or shorter duration depending on use, care and individual skin type. Due to variables in the adhesive manufacturing process, there will occasionally be inconsistencies. If you feel you have received a defective product, please contact the manufacturer at support@bellybuds.com. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 1) This product is intended for the expectant mothers use only. 2) Keep away from children. Bellybuds is not a toy and may present a choking hazard.
3) Do not use amplifiers or high-powered home or car stereo equipment with this device. 4) Scientific studies suggest that Bellybuds should be played at a moderate volume level for best results. See our website for details. 5) We recommend you limit your use of Bellybuds to 1 hour a day and consult your physician before beginning any new prenatal practice. 6) If skin irritation develops, stop using the device and consult your medical professional. 7) The effects of cell phone radiation are inconclusive. As a matter of safety, we recommend not using a cell phone, computer, or any other radio transmitting device on or within 6 inches of your womb while using Bellybuds. 8) Follow all manufacturers’ safety precautions when using another manufacturer’s device in conjunction with Bellybuds. 9) Bellybuds are not intended and should not be used as a substitute for regular prenatal care by an appropriate medical practitioner. Please consult your doctor prior to using Bellybuds. 10) Do not wear Bellybuds when experiencing any pain, or when going into labor.
11) Do not use Bellybuds in water. 12) Do not leave Bellybuds on the dashboard, in direct sunlight, or exposed to extreme temperatures - store at room temperatures between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. BELLYBUDS® WARRANTY: All Bellybuds products carry a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Belly Buds LLC’s sole obligation and liability for any such defect will be to repair or replace, at its option, the product if it is returned to us within the warranty period. Belly Buds LLC shall not be liable for any injuries or incidental damages caused by any defective product. This warranty is in lieu of any and all other warranties, promises, and covenants, including warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This warranty does not cover damage from ordinary wear and tear, neglect, misuse, or any use of the product that does not fall into the designed use as intended by the manufacturer.
