Healthcare News - Fairfield County
After helping hundreds of Westchester County herniated disc sufferers eliminated their pain, Local Doctor explains how…
“Back Pain Technology Cheats Mother Nature Helps Herniated Discs Heal Naturally… In As Little As 25 Minutes!” At Last! Westchester County Doctor Offers Technology That Doesn’t Just End SEVERE Pain From Herniated Discs, But Helps Your Body To Start Rebuilding Them… As Fast As Humanly Possible! Best Part: You can check it all out for FREE if you like! There is no doubt… technology has made all of our lives better… and easier. Just about every miraculous medical cure and comfort of modern living can be attributed to amazing breakthroughs in technology. Heck, laser eye surgery can give people who are almost as blind as a bat perfect 20/20 vision. How amazing is that? That’s why it’s no surprise that technology might be able to solve your back and neck pain from herniated/bulging discs or sciatica…for good. Here is why: Back and neck pain can be devastating. And nothing is worse than going to doctor after doctor… trying treatment after treatment… spending money you can’t afford… and still suffering in pain. That’s why… I bet you would love to instantly end your pain… without any risk what-soever… and have it never come back for the rest of your life? Well, that might NOT be so easy. But, what if there was a wonderful advancement in technology that, with a handful of simple, non-invasive treatments, could possibly have you out of pain and on your way to healing naturally? Better yet, what if this technology could possibly heal your herniated/bulging discs (instead of cutting it out like surgery) so you have the best chance to live pain-free and do all the things you want and love to do? And what if this technology was: 3 FDA cleared! 3 Proven safe and effective! 3 Allows your herniated discs to heal naturally without the risky and dangerous side effects of surgery! 3 Relieves pain fast… in some cases in as little as 25 minutes! Well, guess what? There is such technology and there is a very good chance it can help you… like it has already helps thousands of herniated/bulging disc and sciatica sufferers all around the country… No Matter How Bad Your Pain Is, How Long You’ve Been Suffering Or How Many Other Treatments And Doctors Have Failed You! Don’t laugh. It’s really true. Here’s proof…
When you have a herniated disc, compressive forces cause your spinal bones to come together… basically squashing your disc. The space in between your bones decreases and the soft, jello-like disc material leaks out. This disc material that leaks out is called a herniated disc and can cause severe pain, numbness and tingling in your neck, back, arms or legs when the herniation pushes into and “pinches” a nerve. So it makes sense, if you could slightly pull the spinal bones apart… that would open up the space, take the pressure off the disc, the disc off the nerve and solve the problem. Right? But the only problem is… how do you do that? For years and years, doctors have been trying to do it with traction. But traction has been proven ineffective and often very painful. Why? Traction doesn’t work because when you have a herniated or bulging disc, the area is injured and when you try to move, your muscles go into spasm. Spasm is your body’s way of trying to protect you from causing further injury. That’s why traction hurts so much. As soon as the traction starts… your muscles overprotect the area and spasm. But the good news is: Now there is technology that out-smarts your body’s natural spasm reaction. In other words: It fools mother nature! This technology is called non-surgical spinal decompression (NSSD) and here’s how it works… NSSD is very different from plain traction because it has advanced computer technology that actually senses your spinal muscles. When it starts to gently pull, it immediately knows when your muscles start to contract and it stops pulling. As soon as your muscles relax, it starts pulling again. The amazing thing is: the computer senses your muscles contraction so early… you don’t even feel what is going on. Which means you never feel any pain! In fact, the only thing most patients feel is… RELIEF!!! But the best part is: NSSD is able to gently separate your spinal bones which, in many cases, actually sucks the herniated disc material back into the disc where it belongs! This takes away your pain and allows your herniated and bulging discs to heal naturally!
And check this out: Treatments are pleasant and simple. All you have to do is lie on your back, listen to your favorite music, read a magazine… or… take a nap! The wonderful technology does everything while you simply RELAX the pain away! To sum up NSSD: • For most patients it is 100% painless… in fact many patients actually fall asleep during treatment! • Works fast! Most patients get relief after a handful of treatments – some after the very first! • Is non-invasive so it does not have the dangerous risks of surgery! • Gets to the root cause of the problem and helps it heal naturally! Isn’t modern technology wonderful? And wouldn’t you like to… Give This Great Technology A Try… For Free? If you would, there’s great news. There is a Doctor located at 222 Westchester Ave. Suite 405 in White Plains who has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in this wonderful technology and has been treating herniated/bulging disc and sciatica patients with incredible success. His name is Dr. Jonathan Donath DC, MS and he is so excited about the results he’s been getting, he would like to share it with as many pain sufferers as possible. But There Is A Catch… There’s always a catch... isn’t there? Even though this technology has helped a majority of the patients Dr. Donath has treated… it is not a wonder cure and it does not help everyone.
On the right: healthy disc. Center: Herniated disc with soft disc material leaking out. On the left: Herniated disc material compressing or “pinching” nerve.
For that reason, Dr. Donath does a complete examination on every potential patient and only accepts you if he feels you are most likely to get the pain relief and outcome you are looking for. Dr. Donath’s Special Deal For You! Because the economy is so bad and Dr. Donath wants to help you if possible, he is offering the first 17 people who respond to this article a free consultation and NSSD qualification examination. And if you qualify for NSSD treatments, Dr. Donath will also give you one treatment for FREE! And if you do not qualify, Dr. Donath will help you find the best option for you. That’s why, if you suffer with pain from a herniated/bulging disc or sciatica you should call 914-259-8104 right now. When Barbara answers the phone, simply tell her you would like your free non-surgical spinal decompression consultation and examination. If you are one of the first 17, she will schedule you within the next few days. If you are in a lot of pain or already scheduled for surgery, tell Barbara and she will be sure to get you in immediately. Maybe even today.
On right: Herniated disc with spinal bones “squished” together. Center: NSSD slightly pulls the spinal bones apart, opens up the disc space and allows herniated material to move back into the disc. Left: Herniated material completely back in center of disc allows the disc to heal naturally. Your consultation and examination should take about 60 minutes. During this time you can get all of your questiones answered in a warm and friendly environment. You will know exactly what’s causing your pain and the best possible way to solve it. Dr. Donath will explain to you all your possible options along with his recomendations so you can make the best choice for YOU.
Why Limited To 17? Dr. Donath has limited the number he will accept right now to 17 because he does not believe patients should wait and they should also get the quality personal attention they deserve. When you go for your free visit, I’m sure you will see how unique and pleasant the experience is. It’s nice to be treated like a person and not a number or based on insurance coverage. It’s also nice to know exactly what’s causing your pain and how to relieve it as fast as possible. Dr. Donath’s favorite cases are the one’s that were able to cancel back surgery after only a handful of treatments. Dr. Donath also loves when a herniated disc patient that is in excruciating pain and thinks they’ve tried everything, lays down on the NSSD table, takes a 25 minute nap… and… wakes up with all their pain GONE! Just imagine how it would feel to have all your pain finally gone. Imagine going to bed and being able to sleep the entire night through… … and waking up refreshed and energized… ready to take on the brand new day – without the pain and stiffness that has been terrorizing you. And imagine finally knowing you have the solution to your herniated disc pain. Well, you may not have to just “imagine” anymore… because… NSSD might start relieving your pain… in just 25 minutes! So, if you’d like to see if you qualify and give this amazing technology a try for free… give Barbara a call at 914-259-8104 right now. Why wait one more day in pain when the solution may be one quick phone call away? Call now before someone else gets your free spot. One More Thing It’s Important… Ever since getting this wonderful technology, Dr. Donath’s office has been flooded with calls. For that reason, if when you call, the lines are busy or you go to voice mail… just keep calling back. The possibility of living pain-free is well worth the time and effort it may take you to get through and schedule your appointment. 914-259-8104

YOU CAN DO THAT?!? How Creative Advances in Medical Aesthetics Have Changed the World As We Know It…
“Seriously?”, she asked. “You can really do that?” “Absolutely”, I replied with a chuckle. She wasn’t the first patient who asked me that question recently and she definitely won’t be the last.! “Can we do it right now?”, she blurted. “Absolutely”, I replied.! What she was referring to was immediately starting treatment to transform her body with a revolutionary new noninvasive procedure called CoolSculpting. So hot right now, CoolSculpting is putting media a buzz by turning on it’s head the concept that you have to undergo the knife in order to transform your body. ! As crazy as it sounds, CoolSculpting is freezing fat, and thereby sculpting your body. You can do it anywhere you have unwanted bulges and you can do it during a lunch break while watching TV, answering emails, or even napping! All it takes is careful consultation and planning, including a 360 degree view of the problem and about an hour per treatment area. Love handles? Gone! Pooch? Gone!! It’s like the genie came down and granted people everywhere their one wish: fear no mirror, without surgery!! How on earth did they figure this out? Doctors back in the 1970s identified a phenomena in children who ate a lot of frozen treats. The particularly exuberant snackers would develop inflammation of the cheeks and mild swelling followed by large dimples. ! Aptly named “Popsicle Panniculitis”, the brave children who inadvertently gave themselves this condition were the pioneers of Fat Freezing Science. That is not to say you should throw yourself on a snow bank to get thin..that is a good way to get hypothermia and damage your skin. What CoolSculpting has done is turned this fortuitous finding into a science for a controlled and artful way to sculpt your body..And who doesn’t need that?! Who hasn’t been to the gym and worked out as much as they could humanly tolerate only to have a love handle remain? What’s more, this is truly a procedure that just about anyone can tolerate. The fat cells die by a natural process called apoptosis and they are then removed by the body’s macrophages, our natural sweepers, causing minimal stress to the system. ! And that woman I mentioned? At her 1 week check, she had already lost 5 inches off her waist and hips, and she is just getting started. Optimal results are in 8-12 weeks! So, I ask you, as I ask all my patients!
About the Author Dr Christine Gould, is a graduate of Cornell Medical College and Yale University. Although she doesn’t look old enough, she worked for 20 years in emergency medicine during which she worked over 12 years medical aesthetics. Recently, she has been gleefully gobbling up all the new technologies and procedures and bringing them straight to her lucky patients at her new Fairfield based All About You Medical Spa. All are welcome. No judgement. No boundaries. Unlimited Potential.

Lisa Deck’s Story
photo credit and story source: American Heart Association Go Red For Women.
Stroke Survivor, Age 38, N. Attleborough, MA A week before her college graduation, a severe headache and numbness in her left arm sent Lisa Deck to the hospital. She never dreamed she could be having a stroke. At first neither did doctors. They told the 21-year-old that it was a migraine. They gave her the name of a neurologist to see if her symptoms didn’t improve in a few days. As days passed, things got worse. Lights seemed too bright and sounds seemed too loud. Her left side went numb. Her head ached. She took herself to the hospital—the one where the neurologist worked. While in the waiting area of the emergency room, she noticed the American Stroke Association’s poster for Stroke Awareness month. It listed the stroke warning signs—and Lisa realized she was experiencing all of them. “I thought, ‘Wow, that’s crazy, that can’t be what’s happening to me,” Lisa said. “I thought stroke was something that happened to old men and killed you when it happened.” A series of tests showed Lisa had indeed experienced an ischemic (blockage-caused) stroke, but doctors couldn’t determine a cause. She underwent occupational therapy to regain lost function in her left hand. Every few weeks she visited the doctor for more testing. Knowing she’d survived a stroke emboldened Lisa to live life to the fullest that summer. She spent quality time with family and friends, traveled, attended concerts, visited the beach and took thrill rides on roller coasters. “I did everything I could,” she said. “I wanted to live for the moment.” After taking the summer off, Lisa began her first job in the fall of 1997. She worked as a consultant, putting her degree in business to use. She’d completed her six weeks of training and was on her first assignment with a client when she began having stroke symptoms again. She called her neurologist, who told her to go to the hospital immediately. Lisa was hospitalized and had two weeks of intensive testing and medication trials before being diagnosed. She had a rare brain disease called central nervous system vasculitis. It causes inflammation in the walls of the blood vessels in the brain, leading to her stroke. Treatment took four years and combined intense chemotherapy, steroids and blood thinners. It was rough, and so were the side effects: depression, high blood pressure, hair loss, decreased bone density and a 70-pound weight gain. For the first two-and-a-half years she kept working, struggling to maintain the career she’d strived for. “It made me feel as normal as I could as a 20-something,” Lisa said. “I was determined. It was my first real job and I wanted to give it my all.” Lisa survived a third stroke in 2000 as doctors were tapering her medication, but she’s been in remission since 2001. Lisa, is now 38, married with two children, and lives in North Attleboro, Mass. She still can have numbness on her left side, especially during times when she’s over-tired or stressed. She also gets fatigued easily and occasionally has difficulty finding words readily, another effect of her strokes. She’s never been able to return to work.
Once her disease was in remission, Lisa got involved in the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. To improve her health, she started with the “Train To End Stroke” program, which culminated in a half marathon. Since then, she’s become an active volunteer in the AHA’s advocacy program, sharing her story with lawmakers and advocating for heart health issues. She also organized a survivor luncheon in conjunction with the AHA’s National Lobby Day to provide an opportunity for survivors to connect. Given her experience, Lisa urges people to learn to recognize the signs of a stroke, no matter their age. “The faster you get help,” she said, “the better your outcome will be.” She also encourages survivors to live life to the fullest. “Don’t let a major health catastrophe ruin your life,” she said. “It was hard to go through, but it has helped me appreciate the small moments in life and focus on what I have and how precious life is.”

Rhonda Hall’s Story Diabetes Survivor, Age 44, Springfield, MA
Rhonda Hall knew she needed to lose weight but didn’t. For her to make the lifestyle changes she needed, it took a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes, the expense of medications and supplies, and a talk with God. Through diet and exercise, Rhonda lost 100 pounds. She reduced her medication, stopped needing insulin shots and no longer has sleep apnea (breathing that temporarily stops during sleep). “My family experience was that if you got diabetes or heart disease, there’s nothing you can do about it,” she said. “The reality was that I was able to change it. With healthy lifestyle changes, you can live a long, healthy life, even if you have a family history.” Rhonda, an elementary school teacher from Springfield, Mass., realized something was wrong with her health in 2004. She’d always struggled with her weight, but despite being on a diet plan, she’d suddenly gained 60 lbs. when she was 33. At her annual gynecological exam, her doctor urged her to redouble her efforts to lose weight. The rapid weight gain wasn’t the only cause for concern. Rhonda’s ankles swelled after taking a trip to visit family. Her doctor said it was common after travel but ran some tests. When Rhonda got a call first thing the next morning, she knew it meant there was a problem. She was diagnosed with hypothydroidism, a condition in which the thyroid doesn’t produce enough hormones. If untreated, it can lead to complications including obesity and heart disease. Medication was prescribed. Nine months later, Rhonda still didn’t feel good. She needed frequent restroom breaks during the school day. This was a problem because another teacher had to cover for her each time. “I’d been sucking down apple juice but couldn’t quench my thirst,” she said. Rhonda returned to the doctor. This time tests showed that in addition to a yeast infection and thrush, she had Type 2 diabetes. “Suddenly, I had to take four shots a day,” Rhonda said.
Over the next seven years, Rhonda’s health had ups and downs. She didn’t always take her medication as directed because she forgot or couldn’t afford it. Her inconsistency made her problem worse, requiring higher dosages in some cases. In February 2012, spurred by weight loss competitions at her work and church, Rhonda got more serious about losing weight. Until then her weight had continued to rise. “It was like a collective echo saying, ‘Let’s get healthy,’” she said. Working out each morning before work and sticking to a strict diet plan, Rhonda lost nearly 50 pounds in four months. A car accident that prevented her from exercising for a year could have been another setback, but Rhonda stuck to her diet plan and kept losing weight. By October 2012, she’d lost 100 pounds. By early 2013 her doctor said she no longer needed insulin shots and could reduce her other medications. Her weight loss also helped end her sleep apnea. Rhonda, now 44, celebrates her accomplishment but is clear about her responsibilities. “I’m not out of the woods,” she said. “I still need to be monitored by my doctor and be consistent about the lifestyle changes I’ve made.” Looking back, Rhonda says she was in denial about her risk factors and what they meant for her health. Although she was volunteering with the American Heart Association in her community to raise awareness about heart health, she hadn’t accepted she was also at risk. “Of all the risk factors, smoking was the only one I didn’t have,” she said. “The American Heart Association really opened my eyes.” Today, Rhonda continues to volunteer with the AHA and share her story with other women. She encourages them to take responsibility for their health and make sure they get the medical care they need. “You have to be an advocate for yourself, and be ready to push for more answers if you know something isn’t normal for you.”

Amanda Gonzalez’s Story Congenital Heart Disease Survivor, Age 26, Worcester, MA
photo credit and story source: American Heart Association Go Red For Women.
Over the last eight years, Amanda Gonzalez has learned a lot about what her body can take. She’ll still face periodic surgeries throughout her life to keep her heart beating regularly. Even so, the 26-year-old is focusing on her future—and getting the word out about heart health. When she was 18, Amanda learned that she had an irregular heart rhythm that required an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). She was nearly paralyzed with anxiety. Amanda’s heart story began in her final days as a high school senior. She’d come home from a softball game and studied for finals late into the night. She closed her books and decided to shower in her family’s clawfoot tub. Tired from the game, she sat washing her arms when she suddenly felt dizzy and passed out. She fell back, knocking over shampoo bottles. Hearing the clamor, her mom came to the door and asked what was wrong. No answer. Amanda’s brother pried open the bathroom lock. Amanda was unconscious, foaming at the mouth, without a strong pulse. Immediately her mom called 9-1-1. As Amanda awoke, her vision was blurry; it was hard to make out her mother’s face. Barely able to move her tongue, struggled to ask her father “What happened?” as he cradled her cheeks in the palms of his hands. Nervously, he explained she must have slipped and hit her head. By the time the paramedics arrived, Amanda could see clearly and talk. She was taken to the hospital and underwent a series of tests. They found no cause for the episode. Three months later, when Amanda was referred to a cardiologist and electrophysiologist and began wearing a Holter monitor, her issue was revealed. Her heart was beating irregularly. Amanda learned she needed immediate surgery to implant an ICD. She was devastated. “All I could think about at the time was moving into college as a freshman in three days,” she said, “but I was being told I could die if I had another episode and didn’t have an ICD implanted immediately.”
Looking back, Amanda says there had been signs something wasn’t normal with her heart. While playing softball as a senior, she’d had a hard time keeping up with her teammates when they’d run during practice. Amanda had thought her lagging behind was because she was inexperienced and hadn’t trained as hard beforehand. During practice one day, an ambulance was called after she became over-heated and began hyperventilating. At the time, she was told it was likely due to dehydration. After getting her ICD, Amanda was nervous about the possibility of getting a life-saving shock if her heart beat out of rhythm. Less than two months after her surgery, it happened. She was in her dorm room and she got two shocks. Over the next three months, Amanda’s ICD went off seven more times. She was filled with paranoia and her family concerned. A procedure called a cardiac ablation was done to remove tissue near her heart vessels. The goal was to prevent the large number of premature ventricular contractions that were triggering potentially fatal heart rhythms. Unfortunately, it wasn’t effective. Still struggling to breathe from palpitations and anxiety, Amanda took a medical leave from school. Her family was perplexed about what was causing her heart to beat out of rhythm so often. A chance meeting led the family to a new doctor. He implanted a wire to pace her heart’s top chambers and prescribed a new regimen of medication.
For Amanda, the anxiety was debilitating. For a year, she didn’t drive. She even got nervous climbing stairs and hills on her college campus when she returned for the fall semester. After many sessions of cardiac rehab and a year’s work with a behavioral psychologist, Amanda got the green light to return to normal life. She was given no restrictions but no guarantee that ICD wouldn’t still shock her in the future. Amanda’s ICD hasn’t gone off since January 2007, but she still thinks about it, especially during daily symptoms. Working with a behavioral psychologist helped her cope with the trauma of nine episodes and shocks. She’s learned to have power over her anxiety. Amanda graduated from college in May 2011, a semester later than her classmates, with a degree in visual arts. The occasion was a chance for Amanda to celebrate her achievement amid her health struggles. She’s now a photographer. “I was able to put heart disease to the side,” she said. “I was finally able to focus on my college career and move on with my life.” Amanda wants women to know that heart disease isn’t limited to those over 65— that it can affect you at any age. She’s been volunteering for the American Heart Association and sharing her story. She uses social media as a way to raise awareness about heart disease and how to recognize symptoms before a medical emergency. She also focuses on keeping her heart as healthy as possible. She has a family history of heart disease and wants to do whatever she can to prevent future problems. “People would always tell me, ‘You’re too young to have heart disease,’ but it can affect you at any age, especially if it’s in your family history,” Amanda said. “One year prior to my cardiac event, my grandfather died of a heart attack in my home. Heart disease snuck up on me during the best time of my life. It’s never too early to check your heart health, so don’t wait until it’s too late!

For a sugar-free Valentine’s Day… If your loved one has diabetes, go easy on the Valentine's Day candy, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists advises. For the 25.8 million adults in the United States with diabetes, Valentine's Day sweets could cause an unhealthy spike in blood sugar levels, according to the association. Rather than loading up on sweets, the group's physicians recommend a small package of handmade truffles for diabetics who can safely work a bit of sugar into their diet. Chocolate, they said, is metabolized more slowly than other types of candy and won't increase blood sugar levels as quickly. Also, by learning about diabetes and thinking ahead, there are other ways you can show your love for someone with diabetes on Valentine's Day, including: Opt for low-carb candy: Candy makers have low-carbohydrate versions of popular Valentine's Day gifts. Still, it's a good idea to limit portion sizes of these candies. Although many are labeled "sugar-free," they have calories that affect blood sugar levels differently. Be mindful of: hidden carbs: Aside from sugar, ingredients that can cause blood sugar levels to rise quickly include potatoes, white rice and white flour. Just because a baked good is made with a sugar substitute doesn't mean it's an appropriate gift. Desserts that contain white flour, dried fruit, honey, corn syrup and agave nectar are not a good choice for people with diabetes. Be creative and cook: Instead of offering a box of candy, one way you can show your love to a person who has diabetes is to prepare a home-cooked meal. This way you can offer them a meal that is sure to meet their dietary restrictions.

What do doctors do to treat their own pain? As a board-certified internist who has been in practice for over 13 years, I spend much of my time attempting to alleviate the pain and suffering of my patients. As a clinician, one of the biggest challenges I face is helping my patients deal with musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain syndromes—those all-too-common, yet frequently debilitating ailments caused by bad backs, pinched nerves, arthritis, and the like. Unfortunately, much of what I have to offer my patients boils down to the following: take a pain pill, stretch if you can, wait, and hope for the best. After a failed trial of “conservative” therapy a call might go out to the orthopedic surgeon for assistance; a truly satisfactory result is not common. The simple fact is that physicians are not well trained to deal with musculoskeletal pain, and patients can suffer as a result. Thankfully, my views on this topic have been turned completely upside down since I havepersonally discovered Dr. Jonathan Donath’s outstanding practice. After beginning a vigorous exercise regimen I started to experience awful neck and upper back pain, accompanied by numbness and tingling down my left arm and fingers. For weeks I tried to nurse the pain with non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, but the pain persisted and got to the point that I was almost unable to work, sleep, or most importantly, play guitar. I wasliterally in tears from the excruciating pain. A neurosurgeon diagnosed a herniated disc and pinched nerve in my neck and offered to decompress it with an operation. In desperation I called Dr. Donath instead. My visit to Dr. Donath’s office was an outstanding experience. He spent about an hour with me and combined multiple modalities to fix the herniated disc in my neck: deep massage, active release techniques, traditional manipulation, cold therapy, and finally spinal decompression. After that first hour with Dr. Donath my pain had decreased from a 10/10 down to a manageable 4/10, and I was able to comfortably move my head and neck. That very night I was able to play guitar again. Two days later I went back for another series of treatments and the pain decreased even further. After about five days the pain was absolutely gone. Unbelievable! Since then he has used the same wonderful techniques to help me overcome painful bouts of sciatica as well. My own patients and family members have become “believers” in Dr. Donath’s abilities as well--- the results he achieves are real and lasting. He is my go to guy for the majority of musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain syndromes that I now realize are truly treatable. Dr. Robert Sidlow MD, Associate Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
I am a pediatrician and in my work, I have to bend down a lot and I’m constantly lifting kids. I usually have one to three bad flare ups of low back pain every year. When my back would "go out", I could barely walk to the bathroom and would have to lie down in bed for a few days. I have tried everything: doing nothing and "toughing it out", muscle relaxants, physical therapy, chiropractic, therapeutic massage, and even painful steroid injections. Nothing worked. When I moved to Westchester, I met Dr. Jonathan Donath. In just a couple of sessions with Dr. Donath, the pain completely disappeared. If it hadn't happened to me, I wouldn't have believed it. During my last flare up, I was expecting to be on my back for 2-3 days and in pain for 2 weeks. Instead, after one session with Dr. Donath, I was able to walk; two more sessions and I was fine. I could walk, bend down and I had almost no pain. Since that last back episode, Dr. Donath has helped me with my tendonitis in my right hand and with my chronic knee problems. I recommend Dr. Donath to everyone with back, muscle or joint pain. Even if you have not had relief with other treatments and other Chiropractors, give Dr. Donath a chance. I did and he changed my life. Eugene Dinkevich MD, Mount Vernon, NY It’s my great pleasure to write about Westchester Spinal Decompression Center. I really don’t have words to express my feelings about the care I got in last 3 months. I was almost handicapped, living with terrible pain all the time, crippling my day to day life. I am a medical doctor and work in a hospital with all sorts of amazing physicians, but after seeing a physical therapist, getting epidural steroids injections, many orthopedists and neurosurgeons, finally my destination lead me to see Dr Jonathan Donath. With great skepticism, I lied down for spinal decompression therapy. It was unbelievable that after only two initial sessions, my radiating pain down my leg had almost disappeared. Gradually, I started getting better, started doing exercises that they gave me midway through the treatment. Now, I am doing all my daily activities without any pain. I highly recommend Dr Jonathan and his colleague Dr Kavita for any problems related to the musculoskeletal system, you will definitely feel at home and will get better.
