RETROSPECTION OF

2018

10,000 LIVES CHANGED

One Manʼs Treasure has reached a milestone in its mission - the provision of clothing to more than 10,000 men since the ministry was founded thirteen years ago. These men came out of prison with the intent to truly change the direction of their lives, find employment, lift themselves out of poverty and successfully contribute to their communities. Many were able to return to their families and contribute to the household. Others without families were able to transform themselves into a positive role model to those around them. Some are now involved in prison ministries and/or serve as shepherds in One Manʼs Treasureʼs ministry, providing guidance for their former brothers in white as a relatable example of hope for their future. There are 10,000 different stories of different men with thousands of plans, but all had one thing in common - a critical need that was met through your kindness and belief in them. It has been your gifts that have allowed us to provide the clothing needed to instill a sense of dignity in each of these men and strengthen their faith in God and their ability to successfully reenter society. Thank you for making a difference!

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM ONE OF OUR CLIENTS “When I was released from prison May 25, 2018, I made it home and my first thoughts were ʻWill I be able to fit any of my clothes.ʼ I went through everything I owned and was only able to fit into two pairs of shorts. Timothy, a representative from PEP took me to their small clothes closet and I was able to fit a suit. He said he would contact One Manʼs Treasure and see if they could help. Sure enough a few days later I received clothes that I could wear. Thank you so very much for helping me with a fresh start. Without your help I didnʼt know what I would have done. It meant the world to me for all the love and support PEP and One Manʼs Treasure has given me. Words canʼt explain what that meant to me. I am very appreciative. May God bless. Yours truly, M.White”

CONTINUE CHANGING LIVES... Give a Gift

Thanks to your generosity this year, One Manʼs Treasure has already been able to help over 1,220 men released from prison receive a customized set of clothing, support while they begin to seek employment, and the spiritual support needed during the critical time of transition. On behalf of each of these men, thank you for providing them with the opportunity to improve themselves, rebuild their dignity and have hope for a better future. You play an invaluable role in our ability to continue carrying out our ministry and increasing the number of men we impact. We simply cannot do it without your help. Our goal for 2018 is to serve over 1,400 men and another 1,700 in the upcoming year. During this Christmas season, we hope that you will prayerfully consider making a special year-end donation of ANY amount that will help provide much needed items: $25 - Socks and underwear for 2 men $50 - A winter coat, hat & gloves for one man $100 - A winter set of clothing for one man $500 - 1 case of dress socks $1,000 - Work boots for 25 men $5,000 - Van delivery/pickup costs We embrace the saying, "Love God, love your neighbor, and change the world." You can make a change in the lives of many men in your small corner of the world by making a donation to One Man's Treasure's simple, but vital, ministry by December 31st. “Getting out of prison is a great blessing, however there are tremendous challenges along with those blessings. One Man's Treasure takes away the worry and pain of having to forage for quality clothing that can provide dignity and confidence for a man attempting to gain entrance back into the workforce and society at large. I was blessed by the great people of this ministry to have been a recipient of their kindness.” Stephen

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

One New Van, Many More Lives Changed

We are grateful for a grant received from The Hillcrest Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee that allowed us to acquire a great compact cargo van. The van will enhance our internal operation of clothing pickups and deliveries around the Dallas Metroplex, and help us expand our program even further. We appreciate the help Toyota of Rockwall provided in locating this perfect vehicle for our program.

LOWEʼS HELPS ONE MANʼS TREASURE EXPAND ITS CLOTHES CLOSET To keep up with the number of donations received from our increasing donor base, we were blessed with Loweʼs Home Improvement of Rockwallʼs initiative and the construction assistance of former clients who helped us expand our clothes closet storage space. With more space, we are able to store more clothing, organize our space better and consequently help even more men!

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES North Texas Giving Day

Thanks to your support, it was another great year for our organization during North Texas Giving Day. One Man's Treasure was able to raise over $22,000 in gifts + $10,000 matching funds which helped provide funds needed for the fourth quarter of our ministry and placed us among the top 12% of nonprofits on the leaderboard. We were also able to raise awareness of our mission to a larger audience that will generate new supporters and volunteers.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES Whatʼs Cookinʼ in Rockwall?

On September 11th, One Man's Treasure presented its first "What's Cookin' in Rockwall," hosted by the Inwood National Bank in Rockwall to raise awareness of our mission in Rockwall, Dallas and surrounding counties. The 100 guests in attendance enjoyed hors dʼoeuvres donated by local restaurants, viewed a video that outlined One Manʼs Treasureʼs program and heard testimonies of past clients that described the impact of the program on their live. Guests were presented with opportunities to be part of our ministry through volunteer service as well as financial support including North Texas Giving Day. During the evening, we were able to raise over $3,000 for use in our program through the auction of items donated by local businesses.

Sail with Scott

Each year for the past ten years, Scott Self has generously donated an evening aboard his magnificent Seawolf sailboat for a sunset cruise on Lake Ray Hubbard to help One Manʼs Treasure raise funds for its program. On June 26th, 49 friends of One Manʼs Treasure once again enjoyed this special sailing event. It was a very blessed evening creating great memories as we enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by our volunteers. This year, we witnessed a sunset with the absence of the beautiful rainbow we got to see last year when the weather was cold and damp.

Whatʼs Cookinʼ in Dallas?... The Sounds of Music!!! On Thursday, April 19th, 2018, One Man's Treasure presented "What's Cookin' in Dallas?... The Sounds of Music!!!," our eighth annual spring event that provides funding for our vital mission. It was a beautiful evening at the Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas where guests enjoyed a four course meal created by Eddie Deen Catering and heard the testimony of a past client. Thanks to the generosity of the eventʼs corporate and individual sponsors, Toyota of Rockwallʼs donation of the trip raffled that evening, auction donors and guests, we were able to reach the $68,000 needed to help fund our program in the third quarter.
