goaltender Senior • 5-10 • 178 Fresno, Calif. MJHL-Swan Valley
2007-08 / junior 2007-08 Honors: uAcademic All-CHA Backstopped the Beavers in eight contests during the 2007-08 campaign and posted a 2-5-0 mark, with a 1-1-0 record versus College Hockey America opponents... Led the team with a save percentage of .929 and posted a team-best goals against average of 1.99-marking the second consecutive season the netminder has paced the Beavers in both categories... His record may not have been 100-percent representative of the way he played. Of his five losses, four were by just one goal and two, Oct. 26 at St. Cloud State and Feb. 24 at North Dakota, were by the score of 1-0. Opened the season with a bang recording his first career shutout Oct. 13 versus Army... The junior turned away 22 Black Knight shots in 60 minutes of work vaulting the Beavers to a 3-0 victory and series sweep over Army. Posted a season-high 31 saves in the 1-0 loss versus a University of North Dakota (Feb. 24) team ranked No. 2 in the country at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Alamano single-handedly kept the Beavers in the game for 54-minutes and 55-seconds, but with just over five minutes to play, T.J. Oshie put the Fighting Sioux in front , 1-0, with a tremendous individual effort.
Earned his second win of the season in 29:40 of relief of Matt Climie... Posted 12 saves and allowed two goals in the 7-5 victory giving the Beavers at least a share of their third CHA regular-season crown in five years... The win in relief was the third of Alamano’s career... Alamano has now been in net for three of the Beavers’ four relief appearance wins since the team made the jump to the major college hockey level in 19992000.
2006-07 / sophomore 2006-07 Honors: u11/6/06 CHA Defensive Player of the Week uAcademic All-CHA Posted a 3-2-0 mark in three starts for the Beavers. uEarned CHA Defensive Player of the Week award after first collegiate start (11/4)...
