NZSO visits our Performing Arts Musicians

Last month the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra came to visit

TGS! The students, performing their own TGS repertoire, had a oncein-a-lifetime opportunity to play beside professional musicians. It was an amazing learning experience for all of the students (and staff!) and we all had a fantastic time collaborating.

TGS Composers win big in Wellington

Over the Queen’s Birthday weekend, the SGCNZ held their annual

University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival. Three of these students were chosen as finalists and gained the following placings: Janayah Wadsworth 1st place vocal category Jaimee Thomas 2nd place vocal category Charlotte Gobbie 3rd place instrumental category We are incredibly proud of these students and all of their hard work!
