The building was officially opened by Bishop Michael Gielen. Among other dignitaries present were the Vicar General of Catholic Education Catherine Ryan, and local MP the Hon Simon Watts. The building consists of 12 spaces including specialist music, food technology, art, akomanga and seven conventional classrooms. Rosmini has been unable to accept all its enrolments until now as it only has capacity for 1050 students. The new building will allow it to reach its maximum roll of 1200.
