Eventful first quarter for SummersInman

As the warm embrace of summer approaches, we at Summers-Inman find ourselves reflecting on the first quarter of 2024, filled with new opportunities as a provider of professional services in the construction industry.

In February, we welcomed a professional to our office who delivered an insightful presentation on the new requirements under the Building Safety Act/Building Regulations Amendments. This knowledge-sharing initiative ensured that our staff remained well-informed about High Risk Buildings and the essential health and safety regulations that must be adhered to while delivering projects, ensuring quality and compliance.

We were honoured with the prestigious 'Highly Commended' award in the Excellence in Professional Services category at the Kingston Borough Business Award 2024. This recognition serves as a motivation for us to continue delivering exceptional services.

Promoting diversity and inclusivity within our workforce, we celebrated International Women's Day, encouraging women to explore careers in construction. Additionally, we welcomed two new staff members, an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor and a graduate with a bachelor’s in Architectural Technology.

Recently, we attended the business lunch organised by the Kingston Chamber of Commerce at The Hideaway, allowing us to network with local businesses and foster valuable relationships within the community.
