South Thames Colleges Group is the largest provider of college-based higher education in London and we are a recognised University Centre. We have a successful history of delivering first class University level courses in collaboration with our University partners. It is not too late to apply for a course if you have missed the UCAS deadline.

Our Undergraduate courses are flexible, competitively priced and an excellent alternative to University. Study locally full time or part time with our BTEC Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), Foundation Degrees and Honour Degrees in a diverse range of subjects.

Teaching rather than lecturing

The advantage of having more time with your tutor is that they won’t just broadcast their knowledge, expecting you to scribble notes that you memorise later. Our tutors make sure that students understand the principles they are teaching, and how to apply them to everyday scenarios.

Smaller class sizes

Students are taught in class sizes that allow our tutors to give everyone the attention they deserve, giving students more opportunities for real and personalised feedback. The only downside? You won’t be able to hide at the back of a big lecture theatre, so make sure you have done the reading!

One-to-one support

Help is available if you have a learning difficulty, disability, or long-term medical condition. This includes disabilities such as dyslexia, autism, Asperger’s, hearing loss, visual impairments, and physical disabilities.

Lower tuition fees

We know student debt is a big issue for many people. That is why we have set our tuition fees at levels that are as affordable as possible. Most of our undergraduate students take advantage of student loans, which are available on all our HE (Higher Education) courses if you don’t want to pay fees upfront. Make sure you apply before enrolment.

Excellent employment prospects

All our students graduate with real life skills and a highly developed knowledge of their subject - and classmates turn into a readymade network of contacts in their sector. Our graduates are in demand in the local area and further afield!
