Coventry growth for digital marketing agency
A Worcestershire digital marketing agency that has grown to become one of the most successful in the Midlands is undertaking an increasing number of projects in Coventry – including work to promote a major new state-of-theart material recycling facility in the city.
Nexus Creative is a full-service marketing agency, providing a range of business development assistance to a variety of clients across the UK and overseas in sectors including manufacturing, agribusiness and education.
It offers services including building and hosting websites, digital marketing, photography, and PR – but what sets the agency apart is its focus on business development, which includes winning new business on behalf of clients.
The agency was established 30 years ago by managing director Nigel Harte who runs the business alongside commercial director Colin Foxall.
Nexus Creative’s links with Coventry began with it joining together with Coventry University in 2018 as part of a five-year project and two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) after winning a six-figure grant from the government’s Innovate UK.
This led to the business working on a number of projects, with clients including Coventry City Council, Tom White Waste and MPL Fabrications.
Most notably, it won a retained contract with Sherbourne Recycling Ltd, based at Sherbourne Resource Park, in January 2021, and is now working on the promotion of the newly-opened facility - a remarkable collaboration by eight local councilswhich sees recycling quickly processed by the latest industry-leading AI technology.
Its increasing presence in Coventry will not only result in the agency appointing more staff, but will likely lead to it opening an office in the city.
Nigel Harte said: “We are extremely proud to be working with a number of businesses and organisations in Coventry as part of our growing client base, which currently stands at almost 300.
“One of our current main focuses is Sherbourne Recycling Ltd – said to be one of the most advanced recycling facilities in the world.
“Our latest work includes supporting the local authorities involved by creating videos of the facility in action as well as developing resources to educate both adults and young people on recycling.
“It seeks to recycle up to 95% of all recyclable materials it processes, and it is fantastic that we are involved in such a cutting-edge, sustainable facility.
“We are a full-service marketing agency, but one of our main USPs that sets us apart is our business development expertise.
“We advise on business growth and make ourselves responsible for winning business and generating revenue on behalf of our clients.
“The KTP also enhanced our knowledge on data scraping, which means that we can very efficiently provide our clients with details on potential clients, or information about what our clients produce or sell. This method minimises wasted marketing time and maximises our clients’ return on their spend.
“We are always happy for businesses to reach out for an informal chat, so we would urge anyone who may be interested to get in touch.”
