Armstrongs supports Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice
A national award-winning firm of chartered accountants based in Coventry & Warwickshire has completed its fundraising campaign for a local charity.
Armstrongs Chartered Accountants entered the women’s netball and men’s football events in the UK Corporate Games and used the competition as an opportunity to raise money for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.
Armstrongs Director Sarah Van Ristell, who was part of the netball team, said: “Zoe’s Place is a fantastic local charity, so we are pleased that we were able to use the games to raise valuable funds for the hospice.”
Lara Taylerson-Whyte, Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, said: “On behalf of everyone here at Zoe’s Place, we’d like to thank Armstrongs Accountancy for their brilliant fundraising and for competing in the UK Corporate Games in support of the hospice.
“Zoe’s Place is almost entirely run on public donations and it is thanks to generous support like this that we can continue to ensure that very unwell children can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Thank you to everyone who played in the netball and football teams and to all who supported them for raising this amazing total.”
In addition to the successful fundraising, the Corporate Games were positive for Armstrongs for another reason – the men’s football team was crowned the winner in the Soccer 5’s event.
