An award-winning HR and professional development company has received its certification as a B Corporation.

As a Certified B Corporation, Redway HR joins a global community of businesses dedicated to driving economic systems change. B Corp certification is part of Redway HR’s pledge to prioritising the well-being of all stakeholders, from employees and clients to communities and the environment.

This prestigious certification is awarded to companies meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

Liz Redway, who founded the Harpenden-based company in 2019, said: “Making a difference is a part of my DNA and the DNA of every one of our amazing team members. Achieving B Corp certification is a huge milestone and reinforces our dedication to using business as a force for good – for all stakeholders, including our team, our customers, our communities and our planet.”

The company recently supported and fundraised for Youth Talk, St Albans Community Pantry as well as getting involvement with schools, scout groups and other charities.

The certification process involved a comprehensive review of Redway HR’s impact on its stakeholders. To achieve B Corp status, Redway HR demonstrated high standards across areas such as employee well-being, community engagement and sustainable business practices. The company will undergo re-certification every three years, maintaining its commitment to continuous improvement and accountability.
