Serene surroundings with royal connections

Once a playground for King Henry VIII, Ashridge House now stands as a Grade I neo-Gothic country house and acclaimed events venue, set amidst 190 acres of meticulously landscaped Grade II* listed gardens.

A unique piece of English heritage, the estate embodies a fusion of rich royal history and contemporary elegance. It offers a momentous setting that inspires breakthrough insights, joyful celebrations, tranquil escapes and unforgettable moments. Conveniently located in Hertfordshire, just 30 minutes from London, there is easy access without compromising the serenity of our surroundings.

From the neo-gothic grandeur of the house to the sculpted tranquillity of the grounds, this is a place to reflect, reconnect and redefine your company mission. No matter what time of day or year you visit, there is always something to take your breath away. It may be the avenue of rhododendrons and carpet of bluebells in the spring, the formal bedding in the summer, the glorious autumn hues or the snow-covered winter wonderland.

A series of modern developments and sympathetic restorations of older buildings provide the flexibility to host a wide array of conferences and events, from meetings to team retreats, to product launches to corporate parties and weddings. Ashridge House can also host summer parties and Christmas events.

The largest rooms are suitable for a variety of event configurations – up to a maximum of 250 delegates in any one space. Breakout rooms and coffee lounges are close by so that you don’t have to go far for refreshment or to work in smaller groups.

Ashridge House can tailor-make experiential learning for team-building and group exercises. Whatever the event, they provide space to meet, learn, reflect, innovate and motivate. They also understand the business of learning — after all, they have been home to a globally top-ranked business school for over 50 years.

When visiting Ashridge House, the service from the initial discussions to the event, to the after-event care is what brings clients back each time.

Ashridge House is working hard to become a fully sustainable venue, already having received a Silver ECOsmart accreditation in March this year.
