There are numerous bodies which can assist. Some offer support for mental health issues or specific disruptions which have occurred in your professional or personal life and a few can provide financial support. Contact details for Lawcare are on page 21.
Solicitors Charity

Wellbeing at the Bar
You can find resources and assistance if you are a barrister, clerk or staff in chambers, a student or pupil and there is advice on what you can do if you are concerned about a colleague. There is also information on some forms of financial assistance available such as the Barristers’ Benevolent Association and the Marshall Hall Trust. The Inner Temple has authorised a fund during the COVID-19 crisis to alleviate the hardship experienced by pupils and very junior practitioners who are not eligible for the Government scheme for the self-employed.

A Wellbeing Toolkit is available on good mental health and support to colleagues, their families and staff in their private and professional lives. It complements the Lawcare offering.
