A round of applause for Greenwich’s award-winning businesses!

The winners of the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2023 were revealed at a sparkling awards ceremony in November.

The top accolade of Business of the Year 2023 went to family business Helix 3D, specialists in set design and construction for film, TV and commercials, based in Thamesmead.

The highly anticipated business awards will be back for 2024, with the call for nominations opening later this year. If you’re based in Royal Greenwich, consider applying to get your business the recognition it deserves and to seize new opportunities arising from the programme.

Annual Business Survey & Your Bromley Business Awards

Our 2023 Annual Business Survey results are in with the highest number of responses ever. Our work on Crime Prevention plus Town Look & Feel continue to be the top 2 priorities we will focus on. The Your Bromley Business Awards are back for 2024 with three categories: Excellence in Customer Service, Best Independents and the People’s Choice Business Award. Winners for the first two categories will be selected through Mystery Shopper visits and for the People’s Choice Business Award, nominations will be sought and decided by a public vote. Bromley will be a Destination Area for the London Festival of Architecture 2024. This year sees the Festival celebrate its 20th anniversary. 17th February is ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ and Your Bromley will be giving people the chance to publicly declare the random acts of kindness they pledge to complete on a giant wall on the High Street. So, whether agreeing to cover a colleague’s shift, paying forward for a coffee from one of our cafes, doing a neighbour’s shopping or babysitting to give your friend a break, pledges can be added to our temporary wall on the High Street which will go on to be displayed in a High St shopfront, creating a visual testament to the kindness and goodwill in our town centre.
