JABU ALUMNI CENTRE
- about project -
The Alumni body plays a crucial role in administrative tasks and gathering grauate input. Therefore, creating a well-known and suitable structure for JABU is essetial to help graduates connect with their alma mater and expand the school’s network.
This led to the planned Alumni Centre for Joseph Ayo Babalola University.The Centre features outdoor seating areas that enhance natural ventilation and offer peaceful social spaces surrounded by greenery. To ensure smooth circulation for pedestrians and vehicles, dedicated walkways and a well-planned layby are included, promoting a connected and accessible environment for all visitors.

CONCEPT
Given that the brief calls for a suitable structure to represent and house the JABU alumni body, the conceptual depiction for this design has been chosen as a graduation cap
WHY?
A student cannot be an alumnus until they have graduated from the institution, and an alumni Centre is a structure that houses graduates. Graduation hats are part of the traditional academic dress worn by graduating students. They represent intelligence and superiority
The alumni center features an outdoor lounge with gazebos and pathways, enhancing community connections and revenue generation by fostering interaction with alumni and current students.
The alumni center reception area features an enclosed glass room with graduation ceremony images, posters, awards, and other accomplishments to showcase JABU’s achievements.
The guest house and lounge provide a warm, inviting atmosphere for alumni, while the treesurrounded pool ensures warmth and facilitates easy movement, promoting conversation and community.

CONCEPT
I drew inspiration from the biblical narrative of Jesus’s ascension to create a spiritually immersive church interior. The altar, a focal point of reverence, features meticulous sculpts portraying his tomb and the transformative moment of ascension. Illuminated by lights ascending to the ceiling, the altar is connected to a grand light fixture, the primary source of illumination. Each space, from entrance to exit, is carefully curated

Cariton Suite
- about project -
Cariton Suite is a luxurious mansionette designed with a strong emphasis on landscaping. The centerpiece is a heated pool, featuring a built-in children’s section that doubles as a jacuzzi, making it perfect for use throughout the year. The pool area includes a stylish deck with lounge chairs and a seating space, ideal for entertaining families and guests.
Additionally, there’s a cozy fire pit with surrounding chairs, creating a great spot for conversations, complemented by a barbecue area conveniently situated by the fence.

This site plan showcases a luxurious residential property with a central building surrounded by well-planned landscaping. The design features a heated pool with a children’s section and jacuzzi, adjacent to a decked lounging area.
A circular fire pit with surrounding seating serves as a social hub, with a barbecue spot conveniently located by the fence. Lush greenery and paved walkways offer smooth circulation and enhance the outdoor living experience, while the covered parking area provides easy vehicular access.
The layout balances functionality and aesthetics, focusing on outdoor spaces for relaxation and entertainment.

This design brings a peaceful vibe, filled with natural light from the skylight above The space blends a warm, traditional feel with modern comfort, using soft beige, brown, and nude tones. As clients relax on the massage table, the gentle lighting highlights the textures and simple elegance of the room, offering a soothing experience that refreshes both body and mind. The spa’s design combines classic and modern elements, making it a perfect place to relax and feel connected to nature.

Above i Remadeone of Macmasters’ original designs(wine rack) which helped me improve my skills in 3D furniture modelling, also helped me to understand the placement of each wood to make certain furnitures. Recreating these designs made me much better at it. It really helped me improve.
The lights in this design represent the rain, and they are connected to the wood (the cloud) via a cable that, in essence, depicts the movement of rain from beginning to end. This structure is made of wood.
AIM FOR WOW
The table is made of two different materials. The table’s surface is comprised of glass and wood, which provides balance and functionality without detracting significantly from the hand and curve that serve as its main focal point
The plant which holds the bulb is carved with wood. The bulb is placed at the Centre with its wires passing through the stem of the carved plant. The cuboid is made with wood and reflective glass
