This project aims to re-innovate the way in which we experience art whilst also trying to bring life back to an abandoned site in Leicester in the form of a viaduct . The Arts Centre due to be built on the site champions adaptive re-use therefore respecting the site in its current state. The irregular shape of the site gave rise to an organic structure, which despite being futuristic in its appearance, seems like it has grown out of the ground and cemented itself in the local surroundings. The Art of the Old meets the Art of the New both structurally but also architecturally via the intelligent façade which can display both static and moving images in digital format. The inside becomes outside and vice versa providing a bubble of life in the community in Leicester
