7 avenue Charles Gris 44000 Nantes (FRANCE)
Hello ! My name’s Benjamin, I’m 24 and I’m French Industrial Designer. Hooked by the objects that surround me since my young age, I like to understand their uses and functioning. This allows me to conceive misappropriations or even improvements. At first I specialized myself for five years within the conception of wooden products (furnitures and ornaments). Yet this is in 2013 that I became aware of new discipline that combines creativity and skills: the Design.

In 2015 I acquired a professional Design Licence (materials and modelling). Stayed two years at Métalobil in Nantes, as a product developer and conception. I had some great opportunities to be part of few movable and architecture projects. These brought me a kind of severity required to progress within such innovative schemes and fulfilment. In September 2015, the company Cyltec offered me a job as Industrial Designer (and business management). This firm seeks to establish a research department which could expand in conceiving and commercialise a newer and wider range… an incentive challenge! We made LINAX, a modular glass panel. I gained in selfconfidence, independence and proficiency. Free-lance Designer since December 2015, I realize different assignments afar with several agencies, such as Insiña and Magnanime, which I have a partnership with. Always looking to better myself as a man and a professional, I went to live in Mexico in February 2016. I spent six months to learn more about a new country, culture, language...
Since November 2016 I am an Industrial Designer / Production Manager at Abysse Corp, in Rouen (FRANCE). Abysse Corp is one of the main European actors in the game, toys, tie-in products and collectible card games industry and owns over 70 licences (i.e.: Star Wars, Marvel, Dragon Ball Z et Game of Throne). Relying on the strength of the design and innovation departments, I am in charge to come with advanced and unique ideas for the European and American market. I mostly manage the textile categories, pillows, cuddly toys, costumes, board-games, card-games, money box, lights, high tech, deco and collection items. The manufacture tales place in Europe and Asia, hence the events I need to deal with, for conventions and factory meetings in order to be closer of the tendency and the constraints of production. Inquiring towards new goals, I wish to connect with a general design agency, that would have handmade or industrial products projects. A company that would combine aestheticism and standardisation, focused on the life-time product use.
I looking for a job for January / February 2018

This work plays a key act for both dividing wall and foundation (base), to define the dining room used by the teachers.
