The CSIR NET Results 2020 will comprise the rank of the candidate in the National Eligibility Test. The National Testing Agency conducts the CSIR NET examination to determine how eligible the Indian Nationals are for being awarded the Junior Research Fellowship. Thousands of candidates compete twice a year for being appointed as Lecturers in the fields of Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences. The NET CSIR 2020 Exam takes place in June & December every year. The application dates for the same were released on 16th March but the last date to apply has been postponed due to the pandemic. It has been extended until the 30th of June 2020. You can apply for this exam if you are desirous of being a Professor or Lecturer in any well-reputed university or institution. Highlights of CSIR NET Result 2019-2020 The CSIR National Eligibility Test is basically to determine the eligibility of a candidate for a Junior Research Fellowship as well as a Lectureship or Assistant Professorship at Indian Universities & colleges. It highlights certain facts like: o

If you qualify the Lectureship NET, you become eligible to become Lecturers as well and can go for the Junior Research Fellowship.

The Junior Research Fellowship students will obtain Rs. 31,000/month in the first two years. An annual contingent grant of Rs. 20,000/ is also provided per fellow by the University or Institution.

However, if you manage to successfully complete your Junior Research Fellowship and desire to enroll for a Ph.D., your Fellowship will receive an upgrade. It includes an increased stipend of Rs. 35,000/ for being awarded the Senior Research Fellowship for the remaining years of the senior fellowship(i.e.3+ years)
