BRIEF TITLE The Brief Create a brand identity and product range for a wine selection.

Considerations What will the brand be named? What language will my wide target audience respond to? What stocks are suitable for the packaging? What cost range will I be working with and how will this be reflected in my resolutions? What wines do my target audience drink? What wines will I include in the range?

Concept/Proposition Successfully design a range of wines which work as an identifiable set but also work as an individual bottle that could be purchased solitary off the shelf. Make the range interesting and coherent so consumers will recognise the other products in the range which they havn’t tried.

Mandatory Requirements Recorded research to inform my ongoing development and eventual resolutions to the brief.

Target Audience Off the shelf wine drinkers looking to spend under £10 on a bottle of wine but over £5. Young women between 18-30 drinking predominantly white and rose wine as a social drink. 25-50 Year old wine drinkers, drinking with a meal, taking it to a friends house or otherwise.

Deliverables Logo and brand identity Packaging resolutions for 9 different wines. Promotional publication. Website for online promotion and sales.

Tone of Voice Playful and interesting without compromising the risk of making the wine look naff and cheap.
