Permanent / Direct Hire: Our regionally based recruitment teams source, screen and select the best talent to be directly hired by the client. Contract / Consultancy: We assign experienced, time served Contractors to client projects locally, regionally or internationally. We contract with and remunerate the Contractor directly. Project Direct Hire: We provide Contractors who are directly engaged by the Client for defined periods of time, usually to work on a specific phase of a project. The client is responsible for contracting with and remunerating the Contractor.

Relationships with individual candidates in some circumstances go back many years. This constant contact enables up to date market knowledge and trusted, known candidates are provided to our clients. Copies of the screening certificates are provided ahead of the candidate starting their assignment.
Mobilisation If necessary, Oscar Energy manages visa and flight details, allowing Cameron LNG and the candidate to focus their time and efforts on the demands of the project, and not on the logistical aspects of getting the candidate to the right place in time for their start date.
Contractor Care Our dedicated Contractor Care team manage all interactions with the candidate to ensure that they are enrolled in healthcare schemes, that they manage time-sheet and time-recording processes accurately, and that they are kept happy and motivated during their assignment. In the event that we are made aware of any issues with the contractor, including but not limited to, personal problems affecting their ability to carry out their duties, issues in the workplace or anything affecting their ability to complete the assignment, our Contractor Care team immediately make this known to our Account Manager who will sensitively inform our client.

Oscar Energy HSE Policy: Oscar Energy and the Oscar Group is committed to continual HSE improvement in its operations through active participation of our employees, contractors and the community. It shall take all reasonable measures at its disposal to protect the health and safety of its personnel as well as to protect the environment in which it operates. The Company firmly believes that sound HSE performance is key to ensuring sustainable business and shall thus be considered as integral part in business decision making process. As its policy objectives, Oscar Energy shall, as a minimum: • Observe and comply with all HSE statutory requirements within our area of operations • Mitigate the consequences of all types of incidents/ accidents having potential harmful effect on personnel, assets and/or the environment • Use commonly accepted levels of good HSE practice • Establish transparent HSE performance criteria and communicate them constructively internally and to interested parties. Our Team
A bit about our Team and Directors With over 50 members of staff over the two offices, Oscar are working to maintain a solid core staff and bring in and train the best recruitment team within the Technology and Energy sector. Over the next few years, our plans are to grow Oscar Recruitments services across the UK and the USA by nurturing our current customer accounts, increasing our knowledge of our client base and also developing new business opportunities. This also includes enhancing our candidate attraction model, through traditional means, as well as working in the local candidate communities to attract professionals via networking and meet ups.

Andy leads Oscar’s global management team, collaboratively creating vision, providing guided direction, and being ultimately responsible for all facets of the business.
Kevin started his recruitment career as a Trainee at Oscar Technology back in 2010 and has progressed up the career ladder to his current role of Director. Based in our Houston Office, Kevin leads the US Technology Recruitment team.
Alex leads our Energy recruitment team and with a solid understanding of the market and how to work with both client and consultant he loves the job and the people he works with. Alex and his team are also in Houston with plans to expand to other US venues soon.
Andy has introduced new standards, processes, procedures and a platform for success.
