FAQs We have recruiters working with us: why do we need someone to conduct Search? Across all markets there are typically only 10% of candidates actively seeking work at any time. In the Subsurface world, where highly-skilled people are in-demand and know their value, that number is probably even lower. Air Energi delivers the best contingent recruitment service in the industry, but even that service has limits and will not be the best tool for every job. Air Energi’s Search method is designed to exhaust the available pool of talent, including passive candidates also: our research team maps out the market; our Search Consultants make confidential approaches to headhunt the right people. You are then able to choose from the best available talent, rather than the most available.
What will the service cost? Our approach to pricing begins with a detailed assessment of your project: the pricing model is then tailored to your specific requirements on the project. Consider the opening phases of the search process: mapping out the market; individual headhunt calls to all potential candidates; in-depth screening of longlist candidates. All of this is before you receive your shortlist. To allow us to make that enormous investment of time and resources on your behalf we charge a retainer that is cost-neutral. We only profit when you do: on successful delivery of the project. You save time and resources by dealing with us exclusively. We can deliver a saving in the overall cost of hiring.
How long will this all take? As part of the Definition phase we will agree a timetable of action with you. For a single position a typical search might take 4–6 weeks from the point we begin our research to the shortlist presentation. This can vary enormously though depending on the number of positions to be filled, the locations to be covered and the particular needs of the position. You will have clear milestones in the project that allow you to monitor progress and regular reporting on how we are performing against the plan. And we take ownership of the process, giving you a clear point of contact and accountability.
