As New Zealand’s house and land specialists, KEY2 will source you the prime site and secure you the best FIXED PRICE build contract. Because we are not tied to a single building firm or land vendor, we will always be able to create a package that offers the perfect solution for you.
Our recommended finance partners can create a custom finance package that works for you. You are assigned to one of their experienced team, who will be there to offer you the benefit of their support and guidance from the very start. By offering low bank rate finance and the chance to defer payments until your home is complete, you can ensure financial protection throughout your project.
Once you have decided to let us meet your new build needs, you will be fully supported throughout the following process:
We have access to a huge selection of sites and know the precise details of each one. If you don’t see just the right thing, don’t worry. We’ll find it for you, or you can show us a section that has caught your eye elsewhere. Either way, we’ll happily work through all the necessary research with you.
We introduce you to one of our talented designers that you will work with to create a plan that complements your site and matches your requirements. You can have as much or as little input as you want in this process: use one of our existing designs as a starting point or bring us your own vision to work on. Once you’ve found your dream site then it’s time to make an offer. Usually this is a conditional offer, subject to a period of due diligence, during which we finalise the necessary checks and research on the land. With the conditional offer accepted, you have secured the section typically without laying down any money.
Now it’s getting exciting!
Each of our trusted building partners has a long history of producing work of the highest standard and offers a comprehensive 10-year Master Builders guarantee. Depending on the location of your build, the timing, size and overall complexity of your project, we would look to introduce you to the builder we believe best fit your needs. The builder will then complete a fixed price solution that includes: Site works, architect fees and all council consent fees Driveways, patios and decks The entire house including your designer kitchen Carpets, tiles, double glazing and everything else besides. There are no hidden extras.
Everything is now in place and you are ready to begin making your dream home a reality. With the comprehensive information we have provided about every aspect of your project, you can be comfortable that you can build the home you’ve always wanted within the budget you wish to spend. You now make the final step with confidence, declaring the land unconditional and finalising the building contract. We assign you to an experienced project manager who will be available and happy to answer any queries you may have from this point on. For your peace of mind, you are also provided with regular updates as the work progresses

FU RTHER {READING} I’m a 34 year old Designer from Manchester, a vibrant hub of music, art and fashion in the gritty North of England. It was here I cut my teeth designing full category apparel collections and outstanding graphics for the small, but perfectly formed fast fashion importer, The Juice Corporation. My designs appeared in stores such as River Island, Topshop, Burtons and many other recognisable high street retailers. After this I moved on to adidas to work as a designer in their Rockport apparel division, where I rose to Head of Design over a relatively short period of time. Here I learnt about construction, fabrication, technical properties, offshore production & team management. In 2009 I took the opportunity to come to New Zealand on sabbatical where I’ve been freelancing and teaching Graphic Design, design history & theory at Natcoll, part of the Yoobee group. I am now ready to resume my career and start looking for a new challenge, refreshed and reinvigorated.
