Kids Yoga Kid’s Yoga is a movement-based program infused with the magic of stories. Each class children will work on age-appropriate breathing exercises, yoga poses, sitting still and yoga games. This particular class is designed for children 5 years to 10 years. Each monthly session will allow children to build upon what they have already learned. Children will experience these themes through reading, breathing, yoga expression, games, relaxation, community and learning to love ones self. Class is offered in the

The School of Fitness is the exclusive fitness center certification course for the Bentonville Community Center youth members. Upon completion of the School of Fitness course, youth members will be able to correctly and safely exercise on their own in the fitness center. Each session will meet three Saturdays of November, and the first three Fridays of all other months. Each day we will cover newer muscle groups, nutritional aspects, as well as the center’s policies and rules for the fitness center. Each class will meet for roughly 90 minutes. HipHop Is your child a mover and shaker? Hiphop dance is a great way to be active and have fun at the same time! Students will learn basic jazz dance terms and positions as well as trendy dance moves while listening to fun and appropriate current music. No dance experience necessary! Mommy & Me Dance Get your little one moving and channeling their energy with music, movement, balance, and coordination in a fun, friendly class! Basic dance steps and creative movement games will encourage children to discover the different ways they can move and groove to the music. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with their little dancer to help encourage, model, and keep everyone on track (children should be able to walk well independently before enrolling in the

Ballet & Tap Combo Ballet and tap are great ways for young children to work on focus, self-discipline, coordination, rhythm, and most of all, have fun! Students will learn basic ballet technique and terminology both using the barre and floor as a foundation for this and other styles of dance and will learn to combine basic positions and steps into combinations. Students will learn fundamental tap steps and rhythms, adding increasingly more difficult and fun combinations as students gain confidence and experience. No previous experience necessary! 50+ Programming We offer programs that enrich lives while improving aging minds & bodies Citizens Lounge is a beautiful room designed for all active adults 50+ to come and socialize through conversation and activities. Whether its reading a book or newspaper, sitting down talking with friends by the fireplace, or participating in our specialized programming, seniors can come and feel that the Citizens Lounge will be their extension of their home.

Join us for a social hour that provides anti-stress art therapy. Adult coloring provides activity that keeps the brain engaged. This art method is a proven stress reliever that restores calm. Relax and Enjoy! Activity is offered two days a week in our Citizens Lounge from 8:30 - 9:30 am. CITIZENS LOUNGE

Social Clubs Social Clubs are activities designed to share and learn skills to specific activities. Our social clubs will take place each weekday from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. The Citizens Lounge has the games but you can bring your own. Come socialize and meet new people by adding a little friendly competition while playing our favorite games. Monday

Pickle ball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. This game is played with a paddle and a plastic ball on a badminton sized court with a slightly modifies tennis net. Senior Fitness Senior Fitness Wellness Class is a low impact class that includes exercises for the total body in order to improve balance, posture, muscle strength and

endurance. Participants will use light resistance equipment with emphasis on correct technique. Exercises will be adapted for individuals as needed. Class is located downstairs in our wellness studio on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:20 am. COMMUNITY CENTER

Limber & Stretch This is primarily a chair exercise class designed for the older adult or individual who may have some functional limitations. Bentonville Tigers Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled skills clinic! All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. As a part of a comprehensive approach to community recreation, this program focuses on participation, sportsmanship, and skill development. Art Programming Digital Photography If you want to learn photography or just need a refresher this class is for you! This 6 week class will cover basic photographic skills & techniques. Classes offer instruction and discussion on camera functions, lenses, exposure & different lighting situations. We will discuss composition, photographing different subjects, the differences between software that are available, how to handle raw files and file storage, and demonstrate how to do minor fixes to photographs.
