LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT WE LEARNED: What event is remembered at the celebration of passover? Freedom from slavery in Egypt and escape from death by putting blood of a perfect lamb on the doorframe of each home. What did Jesus ask His disciples to get when they were nearing Bethpage? They were to go to a certain place and borrow a donkey's colt., one that had never been ridden. What did the crowd do when they saw Jesus riding the colt? Placed their coats on the colt, for Jesus to sit on; put coats and palm branches on road; waved palm branches in the air; shouted “Hosanna,” meaning “O save now!” What did the people want to be saved from? Enemies—the Romans who ruled their land.

Jesus washes his disciples’ feet This Week’s Memory Verse: He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. What will happen to them if they do not ask Jesus to take away their sin?
They will have to pay their sin penalty themselves. They will not live in heaven with Jesus. They will be separated from God forever. All of the above. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God wants every person to repent and believe in Him. Do you want that too?
