Communion Servers Saturdays or Sundays, classic or contemporary service, one time a month Berean Cafe Workers Sundays, one shift during 8:30 or 9:50 service; Wednesdays, 5:15-6:30 p.m.,1-2 times per month Saturday Coffee Set-up/Preparers Saturdays, 4:30-5 p.m., 1-2 times per month
Berean Kids
Teachers, Helpers, Greeters Saturdays or Sundays, 1-2 times per month In classroom volunteers for infants-Grade 4. Hospitality, Check-in Coordinator, Area Coordinators Saturdays or Sundays, 1-2 times per month Outside of classroom volunteers for infants-Grade 4. Berean Kids Creative Team Saturdays, 1-2 times per month Actors, tech team, large group communicator, and set design.
God’s Special Flock Companions Saturdays or Sundays, 1-2 times per month Serve children who need assistance. Wednesday Club Leaders, Speakers, Story Tellers Check-In Coordinator Wednesday evenings,1-2 times per month Volunteer for ages four through Grade 2. Wednesday Stockade Leaders Wednesday evenings, 1-2 times per month Men to mentor 3rd & 4th grade boys.
Weekend Services
Prayer Team Saturdays, 6-6:30 p.m.; Sundays, after 9:50 and 11:15 a.m. services, one time per month Shuttle Bus Drivers Sunday mornings, 1-2 times per month Worship Technology Saturdays or Sundays, one shift during each service, 1-2 times per month Serve with camera, video, graphics, audio, or light board. No experience needed, training provided. Musicians Sundays, 8:30 a.m. service, rehearsals, and special events, one time per month/as needed Looking for vocalists, brass, strings, woodwinds, percussion, harp, guitar, pianists, organists, and handbells.
Preteens and Teens
Preteen Teachers/Leaders Sundays, 9:50 a.m., Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m., one time per week Sunday school teachers and Wednesday small group leaders for 5th & 6th grade. Senior High Volunteers Sundays, 9:50-11:15 a.m.; Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m.; one time per week Male volunteers for Sundays and Wednesdays. Security people for hallways on Wednesdays.
Adult Ministries
Berean Caregivers one time per week, as needed Help those who are lonely or facing crisis. Connect Group Leaders 2-4 times per month All ages, particularly young families, 40’s and 50’s, women’s, young married, and young adults. Women’s Ministries Event and Creative Team 2-4 times per year, as needed Set-up, take-down, prep, decorating for women’s events. Women’s Bible Study Team 2-4 times per month, during studies Help with set-up, take-down, and hospitality.
Events
Events Team Varying dates and time commitment Help plan and work key events (special services, potlucks, funerals, conferences) or helping with parking team. Kitchen Helpers Varying shifts as needed Help in the kitchen for funerals and large events. Special Events Nursery Volunteers Varying dates, one time per month Help needed on Christmas Eve and at quarterly FaithFamily Celebrations. Feed My Starving Children Planning Team Tuesday, December 9 (first meeting), varying time commitments Help coordinate Berean’s participation in the 2015 South Metro event. NEXT Remodel Team February-July 2015, as needed Qualified and already trained individuals to help with demo, carpet, painting, electrical, installation, etc.
