Hymns: Amazing Grace
Reading: Mother Nature Still Sings Your Song
In all that happens
In all that remains
I do see the beauty
Beyond all the pain
Winds passing, blowing gently by Which once meant nothing, are now a lullaby
Floating upon the cool night air Kissing my cheeks, stroking my hair
Looking up toward the sky
Even though it removes no ifs or whys
The only purpose left you see Is that of you, shining down on me
A dazzling diamond
My beacon of light
You shall burn for eternity
Both day and night
For if it is not the stars that I see
It is your bright sunshine calling on me
Your radiance cast, shall forever live on Mother Nature darling, she still sings your song
~Author Kelly Jamieson~Bible Reading & Reflection: Matthew 11:28-30
‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’
Prayer followed by the Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Hymn: Make me a channel of your peace
The Tiny Rosebud God Picked To Bloom In Heaven
The master gardener from heaven above Planted a seed in the garden of love
And from it there grew a rosebud small That never had time to open at all,
For god in his perfect and all-wise way Chose this rose for his heavenly bouquet And great was the joy of this tiny rose To be the one our father chose
To leave earth’s garden for one on high Where roses bloom always and never die....
So, while you can’t see your precious rose bloom, You know the great gardener from the upper room Is watching and tending this wee rose with care, Tenderly touching each petal so fair.....
So think of your darling with the angels above Secure and contented and surrounded by love, And remember god blessed and enriched your lives, too,
For in dying your darling brought heaven closer to you!
A Time to Remember
1. In the rising of the sun and in its going down. We remember them
2. In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter. We remember them
3. In the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring. We remember them
4. In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of summer. We remember them
5. In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn. We remember them
6. In the beginning of the year and when it ends. We remember them
7. When we are weary and in need of strength. We remember them
8. When we are lost and sick at heart. We remember them
9. When we have joys we yearn to share. We remember them
10. So long as we live they too shall live for they are now a part of us. As we remember them
Closing Prayer and Blessing:
God, our Father, you who weep and rejoice with us, we come to you with all that has been part of the special gift of our babies and children. We thank you for walking with us on this painful journey, for the comfort, the courage and the peace. It has not been easy, but as the journey continues we do see that the fruit of our love has no end. Together we find strength, new hope, and an ever-deepening love in our hearts. We ask now for your blessing as you send us on our journey. Amen
God who brings light out of darkness, order out of chaos, wholeness out of brokenness, life out of death, bless us with your transforming love now and throughout life’s endings. Amen
