Keeping mementos of your baby can help the grieving process. If you would like to make a memory box the Maternity or Neonatal Unit can provide one for you. Some of the keepsakes we can provide are: • Hand and foot prints • Hand and foot impressions (if possible) • Photographs – SD card provided, and use of camera • Name bracelets • Umbilical cord clip (if available) • Cuddly toys • Candles • Essential oils • Key rings You will also be offered a memory box on the maternity unit.
