We are the CARES team (CARES stands for ‘Certificate and Bereavement Services’).

Please contact us after 11.00am on the first working day after the death to discuss what happens next, arranging a medical certificate and how to collect your relative’s belongings if they died in hospital.

When you call, it is very useful if you can tell us whether you will be having a cremation or a burial for your relative, so that our doctors can complete the correct paperwork.
