Restricting visitors

We understand that you may not want anyone other than close family to visit, or indeed prefer if no one at all visited your friend or relative at the hospital Chapel of Rest. In this instance you are required to contact the relevant Chapel of Rest on the numbers shown on page 14 to inform Mortuary staff of this. You may choose to have a password that you can give to other relatives and friends that allow them to make an appointment to visit or that you alone can make appointments. If you do not want anyone to visit you must make sure that the Mortuary staff are aware of this. They will make a note of the request and cascade the information to all other staff.
