Message from the CEO Welcome to the latest release of Beresfords Magazine... Merry Christmas and welcome to Beresfords Boxing Day Magazine! We are pleased to launch over a dozen new homes to the market this boxing day. Our festive magazine this year has over 100 properties that are currently available and it also includes substantial offers courtesy our New Homes Division. While the market has been challenging this year, recent data from our network of 17 branches have seen a clear uplift in the market towards the end of 2023, in fact November has been the busiest month to date this year. The positive is that the overall demand for housing remains constant. Regardless of market conditions people require a home. This has been the bedrock of the property industry’s resilience over many decades and demand for housing is likely to remain strong for the foreseeable future, especially with a growing population being in the vibrant south east. A key factor in the recent surge in activity is that mortgages have become more competitive. With rates expected to further decrease in the early part of 2024 we are expecting a busy start to the New Year! Indeed, Flagstone Managing Director John Lineham has shared his thoughts on the mortgage market in 2023 and looks forward to 2024 later in this magazine. Closer to home, we are extremely proud that our teams have once again been recognised for the excellent customer service that we provide at the allAgents Customer Experience Awards 2023. Beresfords won 16 Awards including Best Estate Agent. So, if you are considering your options and want to know how much your property

Finally, I am also delighted to announce that throughout the year Beresfords hosted a number of charity events which helped raise over £40,000 for the various charities. This is an outstanding sum of money, and I would like to thank our friends and colleagues for their ongoing support. Indeed, our final event of the year was also one to remember as we hosted our festive drinks at the Jardine Ferrari showroom in Colchester. Surrounded by luxury cars and great company, it was certainly a night to remember! is an Essex charity for families

disability. In June 2023, the Beresfords Foundation

took a significant step towards creating a positive

impact in our community with a new partnership with the SNAP Charity. Through this unique collaboration,

we have pledged to donate £10 to SNAP for every property sale and letting completion across Brentwood, Ingatestone, and Shenfield until June 2024.

In addition to this, we teamed up with the Shenfield Wine company, Lady Penelope Wines and the Silverhand Estate to host an evening of wine tasting on the

30th November 2023 for all our clients and corporate friends to raise funds and awareness for SNAP. The event was an incredible success and over £17,000 was raised on the evening.
