THE LAND TEAM Ross Morley Land Director
Ross joins Beresfords Group as Land Director and uses his experience to identify development opportunities, both with and without planning permission, to then work closely with housebuilders and developers to secure them.
Richard started his career training as a Chartered Surveyor and Valuer in 1997 before, switching career paths in 2015 and began working in land acquisition and project management for PLC housebuilders and niche developers (specialising in the conversion of listed buildings). Also in 2015, Richard became a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Building and established a new company providing specialist advice to developers. Richard is our Development Director and continues to specialise in issues relating to the viability of development, affordable housing and S.106 negotiations, working closely with numerous developers and housing associations to source new land opportunities and advise in the promotion of strategic land interests.

Ross has extensive experience and knowledge in land acquisition and planning, having started his career in 1992. During his extensive career, he has worked for large PLC housebuilders and niche developers who specialised in alternative affordable housing, as well as for a major retirement housing provider.
