FESTPLASSEN SQUARE Around 500,000 people live in the Bergen region. Festplassen square is Bergen’s biggest and most central public city space where inhabitants gather to celebrate the biggest events and festivities.

FACTS • Around 22,000 people use public transport in this area daily, making it Bergen’s busiest public transport hub • There are 3,945 parking spaces divided between four multistorey car parks within walking distance (4-8 minutes) • Bergen railway station is less than a 5-minute walk away. • About 40,000 people are employed in the vicinity

RATES • 10% of gross turnover • Guarantee sum: NOK 35,000 • Shared expenses: NOK 15,000 Traders pay a guarantee sum of NOK 35,000 excl. VAT to rent a stall at Bergen Christmas Market. The stall rates are based on 10% of gross turnover in excess of NOK 350,000. Shared expenses NOK 15,000. Separate prices for the large food and drink marquees (162m2).
