TROY MERRITT 2015 WINNER - PGA TOUR QUICKEN LOANS NATIONAL
Born in Osage, Iowa, Troy Merritt is a 30-year-old professional golfer. Raised in an athletic family, Merritt’s golf career started while in university. His collegiate highlights include winning 21 tournaments and receiving several All American honours. In 2008, Merritt turned pro and he has since competed on the PGA and Web.com tours. In 2015, he had his best season yet with three top-six finishes on the PGA tour including a win at the Quickens Loan National in Virginia. While raising the Quicken Loans National trophy, Merritt was sporting Sligo Wear. Merritt has been a member of the Sligo team since 2013. Currently, he lives in Boise, Idaho, with his wife and two sons.
