STITCH OPTIMISATION TOOLS

Once the design is edited and positioned as desired, it‘s time to stitch! BERNINA has several stitch optimisation tools to ensure your embroidery stitch is exactly as you want it.

INVISIBLE SECURE & SMART SECURE

Invisible Secure stitches the tie-on and tie-off stitches within the design so they are hidden and will not detract from the look of the design. Smart Secure is a feature that recognises if a design does not have tie-on or tie-off stitches and will automatically add them if you turn the feature on.

THREAD-UP COMMAND

Lower and raise the needle to bring the bobbin thread to the top of the fabric at the start of stitching, leaving the underside of the embroidery clean.

THREAD AWAY MODE

When Thread Away Mode is activated the machine cuts threads and moves the hoop in a manner that keeps the threads to the underside for clean embroidery results on the top side of the project with no threads to clip.

Smart Jump Stitch Cutting

The cutting of jump stitches can be set, subject to design properties. No more manual trimming on the top side needed.
