The Salem Red Sox have entered into an agreement to sell the team – previously owned by Fenway Sports for the past 16 years, the Boston Red Sox organization - to Diamond Baseball Holdings, an organization that owns and operates Minor League clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball. Salem

Allen Lawrence: “the fact that we’re a Red Sox affiliate and they’re interested in staying here in Salem is one of the many things that was appealing to DBH during this whole process.” The Red Sox will remain in Salem as the Single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and current staff will continue to be led by Lawrence, according to the Sox and DBH.
