Untreated oak
Several of our handles and knobs are now available in an unfinished version. Our new kitchen rail, Aveny, also features an untreated oak bar. Unfinished oak represents nature in its purest form, exuding authenticity and simplicity. The natural surface provides an opportunity for personal customization by applying oil, lacquer, or paint. This creates a piece that is not only functional but also carries a unique touch, truly reflecting individual style and taste.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
1. PREPARATION
Before treatment, clean and dry the wood surface thoroughly.
2. TREATMENT CHOICE
There are several options for treating untreated wood - oil, varnish, or paint. Choose the method that best suits your needs and preferences.
3. BASE TREATMENT
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to apply the treatment evenly over the surface of the handle or knob. Use a brush or cloth to gently work in the oil, varnish, or paint.
4. LET DRY
Allow the product to dry completely according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. It may take a few hours or longer, depending on the type of treatment you have used.
5. ADDITIONAL TREATMENTS
If necessary, consider applying several layers of treatment to achieve the desired finish and durability. Make sure each layer is thoroughly dry before applying the next.
6. PROTECT AND PRESERVE
To extend the lifespan, consider a protective layer that complements the previous treatment. For example, if the wood has been treated with oil to retain its natural feel and appearance, a hard wax oil might be a suitable choice for additional protection. When using varnish or paint, a clear coat may be appropriate to seal the color and provide extra protection.

Josefine chose Beslag Design’s LED profile Nexus. In these simple steps, and in Josefine’s Instagram reel, she guides us through the installation of wardrobe lighting with the LED profile Nexus.
1. Determine the Length: Measure and cut the aluminum profile and LED strips to the correct length.
2. Connect the Sensor: Attach the motion sensor to the LED strips for automatic lighting when the wardrobe door is opened.
3. Add End Caps: Install the end caps onto the profile.
4. Mount the Profile: Secure the aluminum profile to the wardrobe using the mounting clips.
5. Attach the LED Strips: Stick the LED strips into the profile using their double-sided tape.
6. Connect to Power: Plug the cable into the driver, which is then connected to the wall outlet.
7. Attach the Diffuser: Secure the diffuser to the aluminum profile.
