Whilst displaying forms associated with classical kitchens and the enduring classical architectural style, it benefits from a paired back simplicity which makes it appeal to the evolving It utilises a specifically designed colour palette to create an ethereal quality of light which is most uplifting. The units have all been handpainted in this wonderful colour - a modern twist on a classical look.

MADISON MODERN KITCHEN When it comes to a modern kitchen, our Madison style, shown here, exemplifies the quality and style achievable only from a handmade modern kitchen. Whilst all kitchens of this style are characterised by long linear designs and wide drawer boxes, we uniquely offer an enormous scope for personal taste, unlike mass produced European manufacturing brands. Madison, as with all our kitchens is a British design, handmade right here in Britain for a specific customer in our own manufacturing facilities. Therefore we are not restricted to limited dimensions or limited colours. Instead we can produce beautifully reflective doors, cabinets and drawers. Made in any width or depth you desire, whether straightlined or curved. We can mix materials such as painted reflective finishes with solid woods, natural and coloured veneers. Cabinet colours can be mixed to match your taste perfectly. This is no mass produced modern kitchen, but instead it is handmade and individually specified, even engineered for your particular home and taste. Then lovingly finished with a craftsmans touch.

NEW HAMPTON This kitchen design demonstrates so well, how here at Stonehouse we can create an attractive blend of popular styles to suit an individual space, as well as a customer’s particular taste. This kitchen uses a popular shaker style inset frame door style to theme, connect and contrast the difference between the use of solid walnut in the island and the handpainted floor to ceiling wall units. The modern shaker style inset frame houses the sleek Wolf and Sub Zero appliances naturally. The space is complemented by the elegant tall display cabinet, designed for the display of collectable items such as crystalware. The modern inset framed shaker style door has been handpainted, striking a beautiful balance between modern and traditional. The clean lines make for a calming repetition of horizontal and structural lines and this works equally well in handpainted or solid wood finishes.

RICHMOND MODERN KITCHEN The Richmond kitchen is our shaker design. One which is popular for its clean lines and sophisticated look, whilst appearing beautifully understated. Recognised for its in-frame shaker door design, the modern shaker style kitchen is often handpainted in any range of colours and handmade by skilled craftsman in our own furniture manufacture facility. However, classic shaker kitchens can also be created with solid hardwoods such as oak and walnut. This style is a perfect choice for those who appreciate the comfort and familiarity of a traditional style of furniture, but also desire the clean linear look characterised by some modern kitchen designs. For many, a modern shaker kitchen offers the ‘best of both worlds’. Shown here in a combination of light and dark handpainted colours, with Silestone Blanco Maple worktops.

HAMPSTEAD A very cosy and traditional style of shaker kitchen, which has the decorative style and detail that make it feel familiar and classically traditional. However, Hampstead is still a style which sits comfortably in a modern kitchen dining property extension, or adjoining orangery as shown here. Arranged in a traditional galley kitchen layout, with an impressive Wolf range cooker and overmantle, this kitchen is an attractive and productive space, with the stylish charm of a rural country kitchen. The peninsula at the end, which protrudes into the dining space is an impressive feature. A set of integrated chopping boards for Meat, Fish and Bread, set in a circular unit, featuring end grain cut walnut and oak inlaid. A statement piece of handmade quality within easy reach of the dining area.

BEDROOM Here is an example of how we have created a special dressing room with period style wardrobe furniture. Raised and fielded panels and fluted pilasters with a decorative cornice create a sense of luxury and style which will endure for many years. The internal drawer and wardrobe shelving configurations are bespoke and based on the taste of the customer and their preferred means of storing and access to different elements of their formal-wear wardrobe collections, work-wear, and everyday casual attire. Footwear and accessories can all be catered for, with specialist internal features. Our flexibility in sizing and choice of cabinet style means that you really can have the perfect set of furniture for your room.

CINEMAS This home cinema and media room was created as part of a property development project. We designed this in conjunction with the owner to utilise the space available in the best way possible, creating a cinema style seating area and DVD media storage with a bar. We designed and produced bespoke cupboard storage in solid walnut as well as the bar furniture which we designed to accommodate a sink, dishwasher, ice makers and chiller units. We design, supply, install and project manage. We can provide you with a complete service to include all aspects of your cinema / media / bar room requirements. Aside from the design of the space and producing any bespoke furniture, we can supply and fit features such as a sound system, remote lighting, ice makers, chiller units and optics drinks dispensers.
