The Lapierre DH has been completely redesigned to obtain a bike with superior performance! Developed around our new SLT suspension (Supra Link Technology), the new DH has been created with two objectives in mind: performance bike gear review and reliability. All the experience of our engineers, in addition to the pilots and mechanics of the Lapierre Gravity Republic team, has been used and put to the test to evolve to this new model. Directly inspired by the

moto-cross, the SLK's kinematics provide 210mm rear travel and offer a more responsive and progressive suspension. The new DH is the answer to the editions of the World Cup that are increasingly demanding and in which the way of riding of the team's drivers is increasingly aggressive and fast. 100% made of Supreme 6 Aluminum, the geometry of the new DH has been developed following the recommendations of the Lapierre Gravity Republic team and has been specially d esigned for 27.5 "wheels . This new wheel size was a unanimous request of our riders at the end of the 2013 season, where Sam Blenkinsop won the 4th place in the world in Pietermaritzburg and 2nd place in the World Cup in Leogang went to Loic Bruni. Number 1 in the UCI team rankings at the start of the 2014 season, the Lapierre Gravity Republic team went to work harder than ever to perfect their new weapon. Numerous tests were carried out on several prototypes and we proved that the new DH reached limits unknown until now. Emmeline Ragot, Sam Blenkinsop, Loic Bruni and Loris Vergier m ade their choice. They have already prepared their new weapon with which they hope to have a place on the podium!

What is SLT technology? A unique kinematic pivot especially developed for the descent. 210 mm rear travel and 200 mm front. A curved suspension that maximizes the sensitivity in small impacts and becomes ultra-progressive at the end of the route to avoid an excess of bounce. A single-joint system for an optimal curved suspension. A single pivot position that limits the impact of pedaling on the suspension. In its two versions, the 727 and the Team, the new DH benefit from all the know-how of Lapierre and the numerous innovations developed by our engineers. Kinematic SLK suspension Oversized shafts inspired by the OST + system to increase rigidity, better reliability and easier maintenance.

New removable compact rear temples Guided simplified internal cable Adjustable steering angle (63.7º +/- 1) Conical direction for greater rigidity. Larger rear swingarm to facilitate the cleaning of the mud and the choice of tire thickness. Considered worldwide as a true revolution when it was launched in 2013, our smart suspension system the e: i Shock evolves. Redesigned and optimized for 2015, now leads to the ei Auto Shock, which may well be the most important innovation of our future MTB ranges.

How does it work? The principle of intelligent suspension e: i Shock remains the same: the shock absorber is controlled electronically continuously, depending on the terrain and the pedaling speed. The e : i Shock Auto system consists of several components: 1 computer located on the power side, which has a single control button and a single LED to indicate the operating mode and position of the shock absorber 1 Rockshox Monarch RT3 Relay motorized shock absorber 3 sensors: 1 sensor located in the power, 1 sensor placed in the fork and a sensor that measures the pedaling cadence located in the bottom bracket 1 cylindrical b attery (25h autonomy) The two sensors measure the movements of the fork (the speed of impact) and the sensor placed in the bottom bracket is responsible for measuring the cadence of pedaling. All these data are transmitted in real time to the computer that interprets to evaluate

the nature of the terrain and the pedaling of the pilot. In the automatic mode, the computer then controls the shock absorber that changes its compression and adapts the operation of the suspension, providing the pilot with an optimum and correct position of its shock absorber at each moment of the route. Maximum reactivity The time elapsed between the transmission of information by the three sensors to the computer and the reaction of the shock absorber is 0.1 seconds (the time needed to travel the distance between the front wheel and the rear wheel at 36 km / h ) . Ultra-fast, the behavior of the rear wheel suspension adjusts in time of registration and response to that recorded in the impacts of the front wheels. “If a significant obstacle is detected by the fork sensors it will open immediately, even before this obstacle is reached by the rear wheel. Apply one drop of oil on each bike cleaning accessories” Conclusion: your mind will be 100% focused on driving and always the performance of your bike will be the best!

3 positions, 2 modes The shock absorber has 3 operating positions: open, medium and locked. The system can be managed with two modes: the manual mode, where the driver selects the position of the shock absorber through the button of the computer, and the automatic mode, in which the computer takes care of everything! The following table summarizes the operating logic of the new system e: i Shock Auto and the different states of the LED depending on the selected mode and the position of the use of the shock absorber. The point of change from one position to another of the shock absorber (open, medium, closed) is determined by the sensitivity of the automatic mode. This sensitivity (1-3) can be modified by the user and adapted to the bike depending on the terrain in which it is located (cross-country, trail, all-mountain, enduro). With the sensitivity set to 1, the system is more sensitive and will change the open position of the shock absorber more easily (for enduro). With a sensitivity of 3, the system will require a greater

impact so that the position of the shock absorber goes to open (sensitivity suitable for cross-country). The e : i Shock Auto adapts to your practice and optimizes the performance of your bike to any terrain, whatever your discipline or your chosen driving preferences! New e: i Shock Auto: What changes? To change our i: Shock system, our Lapierre engineers had two objectives: simplicity and reliability . To achieve them, they are based on the experience of the previous version in order to improve the use of the e: i Shock. This new version of the system conserves the essence and provides a simplified use of the system. The result is a discrete device that blends completely into the design of the bicycle. The main changes relate to the interface: that has been simplified to the extreme. The objective? Debug the system, remove it from the handlebar (with the possibility of establishing another device, such as a GPS, for example) and improve the aesthetics. Suppression of the control base

Deleting the screen Computer on the power side (fully integrated with the bicycle) with a single control button and a single LED indicator of the system status Suppression of the magnet of the front wheel. The battery format has been completely redesigned! Now it is more compact and a canister holder can be mounted. Modified connectors to simplify installation and maintenance. The new version e: i Shock Auto is available as standard on our Spicy Team, and is optional on other models of Spicy, Zesty AM, Zesty TR and XR. Another advantage of the e: i Shock Auto: with an adjustment of the SAG of the shock absorber to 30% in the open position, the system e: i Shock Auto passes your shock absorber to 25% of the SAG in the middle position and to the collapse in the position medium and 22% in closed position. In this way your bike gains comfort in the

descent and becomes the super-efficient climbing with a firmer suspension and an elevated position. With a Lapierre MTB equipped with the e: i Shock Auto , the management of your suspension is automatic. You just have to let yourself go: your bike behaves optimally in any situation. Managing your effort has never been so easy! Performance or comfort? Enjoy both! In 2008, we launched the first version of the patented technology OST (Optimized Suspension Technology), our first virtual pivot point of kinematic suspension adapted for medium and long routes. In our range of MTB, this came to complement our FPS technology, already born for small deviations (100 mm in X Control models). Designed to adapt to routes from 120 to 180 mm , dedicated to segments such as trail, all-mountain, enduro and freeride, OST technology has established the success of the Zesty, Spicy and Froggy models over the years. In 2012, a new version of our famous kinematic suspension was launched: the OST + system. Thanks to a new positioning of the turning points, the OST + system proved to be even more efficient.

Today it is present with 120mm of travel of our Zesty TR and with 150mm in our Zesty AM and Spicy. Outstanding performance both descending with excellent comfort, as ascending, with unparalleled performance, make it an absolute reference. Virtual pivot point Our OST + suspension is based on a kinematics with a virtual pivot point. Virtual pivot point, w hat is that? We are talking about a virtual pivot point when the axis of the rear wheel is not directly connected to the frame by a single pivot point. In our case, the OST + consists of two connecting rods that connect the axle of the rear wheel to the front part of the swingarm. Specifically, it is located at the intersection of the axes passing through the two rods, and therefore, it moves constantly returning to its equilibrium position said virtual pivot point.

Therefore, the axis of the r ear wheel does not follow an arched path , thanks to an optimal movement always resulting from the combined movements of the two rods. This path is always at all points perpendicular to the line of the chain. This specific feature of the O ST+ technology prevents the appearance of any oscillation and allows pedaling, therefore, is not contaminated by the operation of the suspension. How does it work?

The oscillating effect induced by pedaling is constantly counteracted by the force exerted by the chain: Mountain biking training plans Balance position: when the rider is on the bicycle, the suspension is in its equilibrium position, called «SAG», depending on the weight of the rider. In this position, the virtual pivot point is aligned with the line of the chain, so there is no oscillating effect. Compression (positive displacement): the rear wheel is lifted, the virtual pivot point is located above the line of the chain. The tension of the chain descends the rear axle to the equilibrium position. Extension (SAG): the rear wheel descends, the virtual pivot point falls below the line of the chain. The tension of the chain tends to make the rear axle return to the equilibrium position. In addition, the ratio of the OST + kinematics curve is calculated to obtain the most efficient suspension possible. In fact, the suspension is very sensitive at the beginning (for good absorption of small impacts) and progressive at the end (hardening of the suspension at the end of large impacts) Thanks to the OST + technology you will find all the versatility you are looking for in a modern MTB specially designed for you. From

the trail to the enduro, and going through the all-mountain, our bicycles will provide you with both the highest performance and the best driving enjoyment. In combination with our e: i Shock technology, the OST + system is simply unbeatable! Comfort and efficiency as you've never felt. You will find OST technology in the Froggy (180 mm) and OST + technology in the Zesty TR (120 mm), Zesty AM (150 mm) and Spicy (150 mm) models. The queen of the mountain!
